Salvage everything you find, you'll need the crafting materials later for the Kanai cube.
Yes, you can install the game on as many devices as you want. Don't just copy paste tho, install it proper as you'll need registries and pc authorization.

They'll need some items intact for the Kanai cube though to extract certain legendary enchantments. It's better to do it early if you have the items you need than to farm for them wasting your time after you reach lvl 70.
I think they should start thinking about their end-game build right now..so that they can be sure what items to keep for extraction..or just keep the items used in the cube in most top tier builds of their classes.

In battle net I can apparently select to scan for an existing installation. I just didn't want to re-download the 16 gb if possible So I guess there is no option for backup and recovery like in Steam I guess? Thx!

@Nui
You can check Icy Veins or Diablo Fans for some nice builds for your class and pay attention to what items they use in the cube for these particular builds and what synergy these items have with the other equipment& skills.

We are Lvl 31 (Pumpy) and 30 (me) on Expert and basically both of us can walk through the levels completely alone, both of us are OP AF.
I have some "pure energy" beam with a Skull as icon, dont know the name, but Im at Level 3 of the Skill (the third Shard) and basically everything I touch goes "poof" (goes through multiple enemies, if in one line).
Pumpy is running ahead of me everytime and I vaporize the enemies with my beam from behind and he basically doesnt even get to touch the normal enemies and even elites. Only Bosses take up to 5 seconds to kill.
How the fuck is that normal? The game gets EASIER as we go, not more challenging.
It's literally not about tactics or coop synergies, it's about loot lottery.

It stays easy until you put the difficulty to Torment levels.
But sure, loot plays also a huge part. For your secondary character, you could level up a gem which allows you to make a weapon wieldable at level 1 (even if it is level 70 ancient legendary kickass god slayer) -> Then you can breeze through on Torment 6 (maximum torment level for leveling) until almost end (you'll start getting some challenges somewhere between 50 and 60).
But yea, the lower difficulties are extremely casual.

It's 1.5 hrs to level 17 and another hour to get to 30.
It also feels like progression is accelerating, is that correct??
And why does everything go "poof"?
I mean literally, my left click attack is obsolete and useless in comparison to my right click attack. This is retarded.

And we can't select a higher difficulty from the getgo "because we need to finish act 4 at this difficulty first"... What the fuck? First I have to finish the game in super easy mode only to replay it at a "proper" difficulty once I've seen everything?
When I drop down from the skies anything within that zone simply disappears. The crusaders Indestructible also grants me invincibility?
And the falling sword deals 2300%+ of my weapon dps. And I can hold a 2 hand weapon in 1 hand because of my passive skill, thus dealing way beyond 20.000 damage to anything withing 14 feet + stunning for 2 seconds.. and my flail has a 100% damage AND 100% speed bonus to my blassed hammer skill, thus each hammer that I fire (TWICE as fast) does 1.280% weapon damage on an area of 20feet for up to 12.800% damage as a single blessed hammer only costs 10 wrath
To you skilled players this might sound like peanuts, but we basically kill bosses before they are done with their fucking dialogue and we spend more time cleaning up our inventory and doing maintenance tasks than playing the game

Uhm... I got this flail. Why does it say lvl 70 but I already got it at 32 or something like that?

Guys, I have no idea what you are talking about. The game is already too easy, I'm not eager to get to level 70 as fast as possible. All this grinding made you guys forgot to actually play and enjoy the game

Yes.
Bought it played it for a month, gave up on it. Expansion seems better according to my waifu... but I have 0 interest to drop money into a 'dead'ish' game to make it better.

I simply don't get it. They develop a game that is ultra easy and absolutely unbalanced and is basically unplayable because you are a god that just walks through the game world destroying everything with a simple click. Something is terribly off This can not be the intention behind this game!
Torchlight 2 on a hard setting is seriously hard. Here you just unlock mightier spells that just obliterate anything that moves

Dude. Again, you're playing the tutorial.
It gets harder, a lot harder.
Now, just finish the story, enjoy it for what it is. Then hop into adventure mode and play the actual game. Rifts & Greater rifts, plus bounty farming. I get it, you're new, Morph as well, you don't know how the game is made.
I warned you that it's a grindfest & it's best played with friends, but you went and got it anyway Now, play it the way it's meant to be played since you already paid for it
Level 70 is just the beginning. Paragon levels are basically where you start leveling up.

Leveling isn't where the challenge is in this game. A weird concept, I'll agree, but there is no challenge at all until you get to 70 and start pushing torment levels/GRs. Leveling to 70 is just something you do during the first evening of the season to get to the actual game and forget about afterwards.

In a duo, new character in the season.
Do you have access to adventure mode? Cause leveling in story might be considerably slower (haven't done that for years tho). The bonus xp for events/bounties/rifts helps. Although I think the optimal way of leveling is abusing killstreaks in certain areas.. but that's too mind numbing, and doesn't give as much gear. I'd rather run some bounties and rifts and get there an hour slower.

Per level the paragon levels don't do much, true. They really add up though, you especially notice stats like all resist if you're a str/dex class, or the cooldown reduction if you're a high cooldown build (archon, etc).
Nah, seasonal is the same as normal. You just unlock some cosmetic things, or stash tabs if you haven't gotten all of them yet.
I like playing seasonal just to have the start-from-nothing experience. The game gets extremely grindy when all you do is high greater rifts to level up gems to get a few extra main stat points from caldessan enchants. So I usually quit when it gets to that point. But the way there, getting the sets, trying some different builds from last time, hoping for some (primal) ancients, doing the seasonal journey objectives.. that I enjoy.

Even IF that is correct and even IF it gets a lot harder,
still that doesnt explain the internal imbalance of the game.
Why should I care about ANY abilities whatsoever or my primary attack, when my secondary attack literally deletes enemies of the screen like the erase tool in Photoshop erases Pixels?
That should never be the case. The difference between my stupid beam and EVERYTHING ELSE is ridiculous.
It shows extremely poor game design and balance, IMHO.

Most classes (except for a sorcerer and a witch doctor and maybe someone else) require them for resource generation you use to activate your secondary abilities.
+ some primary abilities have synergy with other stuff coz of certain legendary items.

Their interest in having any balance at non-70 has come and gone. Abilities are balanced only with 70 content, greater rifts and torment difficulties, in mind. Because honestly, that's what the playerbase plays 99% of the time. The leveling part is just temporary. That can lead to abilities that either feel like they do nothing, or are completely overpowered. When sets and builds come into play, it'll make more sense. Though some skills will never be used regardless, of course.

Because it's not the case. Your skill build will depend on the items you use. Items you don't have yet. So don't think your skills are useless, you just don't have the item to make em work yet. Some builds will make heavy use of buffs and single attacks, others will have you playing the pianist on your keyboard. It all depends on the legendaries and set items you're using. And the higher you go in difficulty, the better the odds that legendaries drop. Also there's the kanai cube to roll with to get a legendary that you want/need for your build.
What i'll recommend again is that you check the leaderboard for this season for your character class and see what they're playing with, then mimmick that. It will teach you the basics of gearing in the game.
