The original Wings of Liberty campaign, or the zerg-focused Heart of the Swarm if you already own Wings of Liberty. You'll have to log in between November 8 and December 8 to claim it.
Access the ranked multiplayer, complete with all of the multiplayer units from Wings of Liberty, Heart of the Swarm, and Legacy of the Void. All you have to do to unlock it permanently is earn 10 First Wins of the Day in Unranked or Versus A.I. play—our way to preserve the quality and integrity of the ranked experience.
Free full access to co-op Commanders Raynor, Kerrigan, and Artanis, with other current and upcoming co-op Commanders available to play for free up to level five. The level restriction for weekly mutations has also been removed.

The Heart of the Swarm and Legacy of the Void campaigns, and the Nova Covert Ops mission pack, will be available for purchase for $15 each, or in a bundle for $40. Blizzard will continue to add "premium upgrades" including announcer packs, skins, and new Co-op Commanders, all of whom will be free until level 5. Anyone who's already purchased any of the three StarCraft 2 campaigns will be given "a small thank-you" of an exclusive Ghost skin and three new portraits.

I couldn't see it specified so far, but I guess it's a yes. Requirements to enter the ranked multiplayer include winning 10 games vs AI, and it will be (presumably) in any mode (1v1 2v2 3v3 4v4 and Archon)

Heart of the Swarm was the weakest campaign from all the three though, even story wise which wasn't that great to begin with..

LoTV(my favorite) improved all that in any aspect , And In a way bring some classic feel to the game which was missing in the previous campaigns.

For me it's

HotS>WoL>>>>>>>>>>LotV as far as story goes
LotV>HotS>WoL when it comes to gameplay

LotV had really solid gameplay, probably the best of the three. It's a shame the writing and story were so bad and nonsensical. SC2 was never particularly good when it comes to storytelling, but LotV was a new low. It's written like bad fan-fiction - huge quantities of fan service and boring cliches everywhere, with literally nothing to make it even a tiny bit more original or interesting.

Would agree with your review, I really liked parts 1 & 2 but didn't enjoy LotV, the story absolutely nose dived.

Fuckin utter trash! Game lives on hype created by little people with slitty eyes, who like to boast about how big their logic board is, except the circuit was blown years ago. Wink

The mission's variety, the production value and some of the gameplay gimmicks are quite cool. But overall the three campaigns were pretty terrible compared to Brood War or Warcraft 3. The story is so bad that it's still making me sick every time I think about it. Blizzard managed to ruin everything it built up in the first 2 games. And that ending...

I had a blast, a real blast with Terran campaign. Have not played the others. I do not see reduction in quality compared to SC1/WC3 days at all.

How can someone be so agressive toward games?
Seems like the game hurt your feeling pretty badly.

Maybe your expectations on storytelling quality are not that high. Going from the intrigues, politics and betrayals of Brood War to the american hero soap opera of SC2 was awful. But I guess that's what passes by good story in most mediums nowadays, right?

Well, I judge campaigns as whole package, not just storytelling.

And it wasn't really "that great" in original neither.

I'm talking about the gameplay, missions, abilities... all of this is really great in my book. You don't seem to like them with your kind of logic (I can't fathom exactly why, but oh well) so to each its own Smile

Story wasn't great, I concur. Although, everything else was splendid and worth to play at least once. Got me hooked to the MP and now I'm a diamond mofo Embarassed

The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.
