I don't have a problem with heat. On work we have air conditions, at home I have one too, really don't see the fuss.

I don't get people complaining that it's hot in Summer. When the fuck should it be hot? In winter? What are we, freaking Australia?

AC is not a replacement for real air. It helps, but I don't want it 24/7. basically, I only turn it off at night these days and that's not very good. My body knows it's artificial.

Hot summer in a city is crap for me. I don't need or want temps above 28 C. anything above that is just not comfortable.

That last heat wave 2 weeks or so ago, and these days, it's practically impossible to be outside from 10am to 7 pm any longer than 30 mins.

+ I have an alaskan malamute. she suffers the most, and I can't spend quality time with the dog at all during the summer.

I guess i'm just a winter person. I need to get away from this hellish ass backwards country again Razz

Look, I'm not all for oven temperatures outside, but I'll rather have sunny days than rain or snow.

I hate when I get wet from rain, and snow just makes public transport collapse here in Zagreb. I mean, that's because we're fucked up little country, but still.

I love spring, because it's just the right temperature, and I love summer because I can ride my bike everywhere Smile

Autumn and winter are best seasons, I said it before and I'll say it again.

When it's cold (I actually like it being cold-ish, but that's beside the point Razz) I can put on an extra jacket or turn on heating at my apartment.

When it's hot like this (it's almost 8 PM and it's 34 Celsius atm), I can't open the window because it will get even more hot, I can't do jack shit actually. It sucks. I wake up in the middle of the night all sweaty and sticky, and for all the wrong reasons Razz

I hope you guys don't experience what we got today, because for a moment I feared that the roof would just fly away like aladdin's carpet.
Third tropical typhoon that has hit Tuscany in the last 20 days, I like rain too but damn it's getting scary Sad Laughing

Thankfully the houses are "old-school" and very solid here, there have been only some problems with vegetation/windows and that's it. It's a miracle that internet is still on xD

Imagine (actual work) manual labour !

How I hated working those days when it was 30+, you'd almost fake sickness to get away from it.

To be honest i would prefer physical work at those temperatures over what i am doing. Trying to write something productive is much stressing me for me

Today another smaller one hit the area (no damage thankfully), only electricity went out. In total yesterday there have been ~15k lightings in 6 hours, the apocalypse is near and we're all fucking then Surprised

Well, as long as you can avoid direct sun, while doing physical work outside for example it's quite enjoyable...
I'm in an office without airconditioning and it's usually outside temp +- 3 degrees Razz (depends on if the maintenance has allowed the building to cool down at night).

And I'm at 20+ celcius already a heavy sweater so, 35-40 .... I cannot lean on my desk with my elbows because they slip away from under me Sad

Had to already switch to my gym clothes to survive even barely Razz

Well... at least no dress code Smile (We do have but it's not enforced)

Poland has power/energy usage problems and we're in an emergency state for companies to use as little energy as possible. This means no light (except the really necessary ones) and more importantly - on AC since 10 am. I got here before 7 am, turn on the AC to minimum to cool the office, but half an hour past 10 - it was already 27 degrees inside. Now it's closing to 31 and we have two conference rooms with AC with people rotating.

@sanchin To be honest it wouldn't hurt if companies even stopped lighting their hectare big complexes at night in the middle of nowhere all around the world.

More should do that and stop wasting energy.
