Yeah well who the motherfucking fuck cares? It's a stealth game. Only console cunts would use a fucking driving punshing fucking robot like that. Unimportant stuff....no one will use that shit if he is a man!

Yeah real men sneak around in the shadows avoiding confrontation.
The best thing for me is the completely sandbox-y approach, there are really no constraints at all unlike many other open world games that give you a "fake" sense of freedom. I really dig that part. It's more or less what Sniper Elite 3 tried to achieve on a smaller scale, only without failing miserably
My concern is that environments themselves may not be varied enough especially after several hours, though we haven't seen much so far and good surprises will surely be on their way as usual.
The dog is such a cute addition, despite its incontinence xD
Let me sum up what my friend's playthrough of the game @ E3 has brought as conclusions:
- no cinematic game like other MGS, it's a hub with missions like latest Splinter Cell
- missions can be completed in 1 minute (snipe subject X)
- the speed of upgrades and unlocks literally makes you force yourself to go stealth if you want such playthrough. why unlocks artillery and air strikes and uber weapons if you're making a stealth game?! they're forcing you to wreak havoc.
- other minor issues that work against making an awesome MGS installement
Today I didn't even need to use my AK. I gotta say it was a good day. (c) - Ice Cube
I'm very optimistic about this game after my experience with Ground Zeroes, but that's coming from a completely new player to the franchise. Got a very strong Splinter Cell vibe from GZ, and that was a great thing.

Same. And on top of that, a very good performance. I was like "what? a japanese port better than most of the western ports we get nowadays? GTFO!"
Tons of great info, but those that don't want to spoil themselves with things like 'when you finish x you get y/go to y and whatever' and want to keep yourself surprised with most of the features, don't read it!
what i also love is the very positive feedback about both enemy and buddy ai. this could be the most polished (semi) open world game yet.
going by the reports, there should be atleast one more, or maybe 2 big new areas that so far nobody is allowed to talk about. wouldn't be surprised if merely the locations would be huge spoilers.
