Cheers.

Kinda funny they offer toughness as a recommended skill for beginners in their guide considering it's a stealth based game.=) And you loose lots of xp if you start acting like a terminator. =)

I'm currently at the level where you need to find Vlad.

Atm, i have these skills taken:

Feed- maxed
Shadow grip-maxed
Shadow leap - lvl2
Subdue - maxed
Blood- maxed

4 SP left to distribute.

Garret looks like an amateur compared to me Razz

Actually, it plays like a Thief on vampire steroids Very Happy

But i kinda think all things considered this indie-like game is tad overpriced

zomg.. the boss area with Vlad (Hunting Ground) makes it super hard for me to do my dirty business stealth wise even with all my skills(when i have blood)

i wish they fraking made normal saves available. I keep reloading the last save for the last hour Very Happy and then keep fraking things up here or there lol

Much better on pc than on 360(imo)...having a blast with this game. Razz

The game does get a lot easier though if you get shadow grip maxed early in the game, since it vaporizes the body too. No biggie...just not going to spam it. Razz

Nah, on normal. Very Happy There are loads of mobs here and i hate ghouls.

Any advice on this area?

Just finished Vlad's mission and I found it to be quite easy if you just shadow leap to high areas. Very Happy

Oh and you do have 2 normal saves on normal(not sure about hard) during each section...use them wisely. Razz

If i kill Vlad right away will the mission automatically end?

Performance wise I'm not impressed either.
The dancefloor in the beginning put me in the low 40s with one 680 @1080p. With both I get low 50s at that point @1440p (there is no dedicated SLI profile).

I finally managed to try the game (did the first three proper levels after dinner) and have to admit, I'm quite disappointed.

It's basically a 100% linear stealth game with super-powers and cutscenes that has nothing to do with Bloodlines, but as a fan of the genre, that would be fine if the gameplay was actually supported by enough variety/good level design. The story seems rather cheesy as well, though it was to be expected.

The two aspects that I found particularly underwhelming are the repetitiveness and braindead AI...especially the latter, which can lead to some hilarious situations xD. The graphics and style aren't too bad, the animations on the other hand make the Gamebryo look like a superb engine. As for the performance, Sabin, you're not alone Razz, there are several -unjustified- framerate drops that can be annoying indeed, though it's mostly in that first level like C.Mac said.

It's a rough game overall, very consolish too, that works only at times..and sadly I don't see any particularly interesting redeeming features here that can save it from the mediocrity. Sad

I don't know what anyone expected from this game really. Trailers might not be the most accurate representation, but when it looks that bad, it can only be bad.

Yeah you definitely have a point Razz, though I kinda hoped that the stealth part was at least decently done, considering all the upgradable powers/abilities. Alas the poor level design and terrible AI are killing all the fun for me.

Haha, I just wanted to clarify that since there was some confusion at first about the genre/amount of freedom/RPG-lite aspects (which are obviously non-existent).

For the record, this is the first real game to officially support oculus rift out of the box.
Unlike doom3 and hawken which used it as a selling point and never delivered, this one actually did.
The menu and UI stuff appear as a gigantic floating curved screen in front of me
It's kind of cool to be able to look around in cutscenes.
But unfortunately it's a stupid game to implement it in.. what use is it in a third person game that looks like it was made in the 90s?
I rather just play it on a monitor.
Maybe if it got a first person mod i might try again

Uh this game.. i managed to play it for 5 minutes before deleting it. The graphics and the shitty blur are horrible. The character movement and lip sync during the cut scenes too..

Haha, I know right? Luckily no, I don't have any shitware on my compy - just a dying graphics card that apparently doesn't like to be stressed >_<

Same! Perhaps it really IS just this game then. The dancefloor and surrounding bar area was terrible, mid 30s to low 40s and caused SPS in certain angles. I'll run through Heaven shortly, if there's no problems there then that rules out my card, thankfully!

Thanks C.MAC <3

If you like linear sneaking around.

Finished this little piece of gem. Smile

10 hours it took and only a few alarms raised(at the end of the game...didn't need experience points anymore Very Happy )...I thought this was actually a good game,I enjoyed it immensely even though it was rough around the edges.

I guess it's pointless to hope for a sequel, but you never know. Razz
