you can do all that with xeBuild... these building apps just toggle various command line parameters of xeBuild, that's all their "magic". every single builder app has xeBuild underneath it, because without it there would be no jtag/rgh scene.

Yes, but there's really not much point in doing it i'm afraid.
They suffer from really slow boot time's (can be minute's!) so not really good for everyday use.

Any way to know what type of Japser you have (16mb, 256mb, 512 mb) using the backupnand? Or any other way?
I've made the update files for my Jasper using a 16mb type but I'm not 100% sure if that's my model and I can't get a hold of my modder.
What's the worst that can happen if I use a update file made for another type of Jasper?

What's the latest dash that can be RGH'd. I've got a friend with a bad drive and no way to get the key so I told him that we should just hack it and then at least get the drive key so we can spoof another drive. Since he is cheap, he probably won't want to keep the rgh.
I'm beginning to think that his console (a BB Jasper 512) is on too new of a dashboard to be glitched...

Just tried to play GOW3 on my glitched 360, got a message of 'The game could not start, try downloading the game again' and then sent back to the dash. Has this happened to anybody else ?.

I believe that error message will show when your glitch console is on old dashboard..

I knew I wasn't crazy. I'd seen that news somewhere and had chosen to forget it since it didn't apply to me at the current moment. Now that it does, I wish that they would just release the hack...
Oh, and has anyone ever seen a refurbished 360 with extra resistors added to some of the points on the mobo? (I'd upload pics, but I'm at work and the 360 is at home)
And they aren't surface mount resistors, they are either composition type or film type...
I'll add pictures of these later.

No, I'm talking about doing that from the console, without taking the drive out.
