I recently looked at the LG 42LW650W and it looked really good (compared to all the other tellies around it). I was close to buying it but decided I'd wait a little longer.

I've buyed the Samsung Smart TV 3D, 55 inches, for less than 1.000 US$ here. Look at it, seems like Samsung is desperated for selling them worldwide.

I think even my 46" is too small, no idea why you would want 42" unless you are sitting 5 feet away. At 6 feet even the human eye can barely differentiate between 720p and 1080p on a tv that size.

My parents bought a 42" LGLW650T, great TV for its price (650 euros).

3D System is amazing I have to admit.
Mine is Serie 7. For that price, was a blast. It was only for a weekend that they had it for 999US$.
