kinect requires an update to work. And its not the dash, because I had to download it right after I plugged in my kinect. So I don't know. No kinect games are AP25 tho (yet). |
So in theory it should work because non-AP25 and patched AP25 games work fine.

Does this method ban your console (if previously is not banned) or you copletely avoid the AP 2.5 thing?
Want to know that because i use one 360 for offline play and unflashed one for online - changing the hdd. Will my stats (played offline games and unlocked achievements) get updated or the profile will get corrupted every time when i connect my unflashed 360 to the net?

AP25 SS are region specific for region locked games
LT+ for slim 9504 and 0225 is progressing, soon.

Hey I have a question. I have a LiteOn drive, flashed with LT+ and installed the latest update from the Microsoft website. Now AP25 games like Brotherhood and NFS won't boot! Is this normal with this setup or is something wrong?
–Also I read something about patching ISO's with abgx. Should this still be necessary if you already have LT+? Thanks for any help and merry xmas

You need to patch those isos,if u downloaded first rlses...no matter if u have LT+.

its like this on PC you have copy protections like Tages or Starforce or Securom that need Data Measurements [DPM] to help you emulate your clone CD/DVD that are in .mds alcohol file, like it was said before AP2.5 works like those PC CPs so you need a none spoofed drive and a AP2.5 Data Measurement from a game , then you add those in the Iso to emulate/fool the copy protection
a fine Example is this :
| Code: | TEAM XECUTER PRESENTS AP2.5 PATCH FOR LT+
GAME: NEED FOR SPEED HOT PURSUIT
FORMAT: XBOX 360
REGION: PAL
SCENE RELEASE: LoCAL
Notes: Use PPF-O-MATIC to apply The patch to your ISO then the game will boot on your LT+ flashed
drive and will be XBL Safe.

Hey that's useful info . So let me get this straight: the best bet is to simply have ABGX check a downloaded ISO and patch it with "AP25 dpm".
One question though! If ISOs with AP25 have to be patched anyway, why wouldn't groups release prepatched ISOs?

So basically prepatched scene ISOs are a rarity because scene dudes are releasing non-retail games? But in theory a copy of a final retail version would not need any patching.
And if ABGX tells a game is AP25 it will automatically patch it correctly? So the separate ppf patch released for NFS is actually superfluous.

Well fuck me, I finally got it working! Ran the Brotherhood ISO through ABGX. It detected AP25, did some autofixing and the red error messages were gone. My Xbox dvd drive has gone to shit however and was verifying the disc for 15 minutes or so  . But it made it past the security check and the game booted.
So now I have to go spend €30 on a new LiteOn drive I guess. Good thing I know someone who will place and flash the drive for zip

Im not thinking about that at all,when time comes..well,then it's time for me to think about flashing it again.It's a bit difficult to find someone to flash it for me here,so that's the only reason why Im still going with this " fix "... and I hope it lasts many more months..
