Yep, that's what you get when you put very pointy metal rod on a high place: a lightning attractor aka lightning rod

Physicist actually In the early days (back when Franklin messed with lightnings using a kite) the lightning rods were very pointy at one end which meant that you would get a massive buildup of charge on that tip, which during thunderstorms literally attracted lightnings. Today they are making them slightly differently (not that pointy iirc), but the purpose remains the same: better to struck a metal rod than you

If I hadn't lost a year on 2 exams I would be graduating Fucking bureaucracy wouldn't let me enroll in math class (absolutely nothing to do with physics), because I didn't pass physics exam -.- Logic: none! Anywho I have exam in a week, which I'll probably pass and then off to the real deal - next yr will be a killer
