Not a fan of those vocals (but then I rarely like clean vocals), but it's not bad otherwise.

Neverland is another decent turkish band if you're into power metal.

How did you find a song by รผmit besen Laughing

He had this very emo song and a turkish rock band covered it. He wasn't very happy with the result Laughing

Off topic question: What's with the hatred against emos? Is it some kind of 'look this guy dresses like a girl he strokes my homophobia' or 'oh look how different he is I hate different people we should all be same'? Just wondering. I have no problems whatsoever with emos or apacis as they call in Turkey so what's with the fraternal testosteron show?

I think you misunderstand... Razz
It is used more like an "insult" as opposed to hatred toward people. Like saying someone is gay... It's not like we are homophobes or that there is something wrong with being homosexual. Just a harmless jab. At least that is how it is for me when I call Waldo "emo". Razz

And why did an innocent single word, defining a culture's follower, transform into a kind of 'insult' in the first place? Could it be the 'followers seem to be hated, abhored, detested, despised because of their life style?

Edit: If you are using the emo word for joking disregard this message.

Well, it is one of these words, you know? For example when I say "Jeez, that looks gay", I don't mean "this is something homosexual" Laughing With "emo" it is a joking insult when people complain a lot and "cry" about their life. Or at least that is how I see it anyway... Confused

Well Leo, if you are using the word 'gay' for insult or another kind of negative thing: you may not be a gay hater in real life, but aren't you copying and supporting the gay haters' behaviour by using the term as an insult? May be this is what all those gay haters wanted you to be. Not trying to sound rude Leo, but I think using the gay term for an insult should be left to 12 year old nextgen console crowd.

Edit: You may use the Emo term short form of emotional as a joke but when you imply the long haired girly dudes with make up, it's othering.

Well, to be honest, no, I don't feel like that. I know pretty well myself and my views, and I know to put the "gay" and similar words in such context that they don't sound racy. I don't participate in conversations with people who are homophobic or racist, and I trust the people I do talk with to understand I am only joking.
What you say is similar to laughing at a silly "racist" picture in the epic thread. Am I helping racist idiots by laughing, just because they might laugh also? I have discussed this with Lutzifer, if I post a funny pic or joke that dances on racist stereotypes, does it mean I'm racist? I don't think so, it just means I can look at how something is politically incorrect and laugh at the silly stereotypes. Smile
Again, if I post something out of context in a place where people do not know me, I can't expect to not be called "homophobe" or "racist", but on this board I allow myself to speak more freely because people know me, and know my views.

An example of all this is the expression "macfag" we all use when speaking about certain Mac users. Laughing I don't think we are homophobic. Wink

Laughing at something normal is a sign of seeing it degraded, despisbale, dishonourful, shameful etc. If you are laughing at something like 'an afro american kid getting scared after seeing KFC closed or niggers are blue niggers are red' yes indeed you are supporting those racist dumbfucks because in the first place they see and think being an African American is a shameful thing. What's there to laugh at that kid getting scared? Can't they like chicken? Aren't you stereotyping by thinking every other afro american is fond of chicken? I think it's a clear sign of racism.

I get you you are doing jokes and everybody knows and likes you including me. Also I think the macfag term is derived from 4chan's newfags, oldfags etc. since I don't take those 4channers serious I don't give a rat's arse about applying fag suffixes to every other word. At its base it's something wrong but I don't give a fuck since it's 4chan.

Edit: I know that KFC picture is a photoshop by the way.

But you see, I am not laughing at the black kid being scared, usually what gets me in these particular pic is the silly stereotype that black people like "chickan" (you know, the "Oh lawd, iz dar sum chikan"). The entire stereotype is so retarded, it just gets me every time. Smile

The answer nobody dares giving: because emo's are worth all the hatred they're getting. An emo is a pathetic, silly joke of a person who evokes mockery wherever he/she goes. It's the natural way of things. Twisted Evil

They even used that in GTA4. Wink

btw. the word Gay means: happy, easy going.
and the word fag means: cigarette, stump.

I had no idea you actually had the words Gay and Fag as written in the dutch language. Cool Face

http://www.elook.org/dictionary/gay.html

[adjective] bright and pleasant; promoting a feeling of cheer; "a cheery hello"; "a gay sunny room"; "a sunny smile"
Synonyms: cheery, sunny

[adjective] full of or showing high-spirited merriment; "when hearts were young and gay"; "a poet could not but be gay, in such a jocund company"- Wordsworth; "the jolly crowd at the reunion"; "jolly old Saint Nick"; "a jovial old gentleman"; "have a merry Christmas"; "peals of merry laughter"; "a mirthful laugh"

[adjective] given to social pleasures often including dissipation; "led a gay Bohemian life"; "a gay old rogue with an eye for the ladies"

[adjective] brightly colored and showy; "girls decked out in brave new dresses"; "brave banners flying"; "`braw' is a Scottish word"; "a dress a bit too gay for her years"; "birds with gay plumage"
Synonyms: brave, braw

[adjective] offering fun and gaiety; "a gala ball after the inauguration"; "a festive (or festal) occasion"; "gay and exciting night life"; "a merry evening"
Synonyms: gala, festal, festive, merry

In other words, a "gay and exciting night life" didn't mean you were a homosexual partying in special nightclubs.. Wink

The Dutch language adopts loads of english words ... you would be surprised Smile

The english language does the same other way around

Except they change most of the writing Smile
