- Mobo: Asrock Z77 Pro 4 or similar, ~80-120 EUR or so depending on your wishes;
- CPU: Intel Core 3450, ~160 EUR
- RAM: 2x4GB Corsair Vengeance DDR3-1600, ~40-45 EUR
- HDD: Lower end 500 GB drives are about 60 EUR atm
- GPU: GTX 560 Ti, 7850 or better yet, get a used 6950/570/6970 for that amount (about 160)
The above puts you around the 500 mark. Still lacks a PSU though, which is hard to recommend without knowing what you can get. I assumed you have a case to use; the above is more than capable of running anything out there at 1080p or lower just fine.
It kind of depends on what you already have to be reused though, a scratch build will always cost a bit more |
Thanks for the advices. Sadly, the only thing I can reuse is the case. I guess I could increase the budget up to 600€. I like the build you recommend, I'll dig around, check prices and stuff and I'll post an update whenever I'll be closer to actually buying anything

Do yourself a favor and invest in a SSD.
And no, you can't delete the midget tranny porn from the VIP FTP because I am the source of all midget tranny porn that ever was and ever will be.

Not sure about the XFX PSU, I have never heard anyone recommend one before.

Actually, the XFX Core Pro series are all Seasonic builds, so they're quite decent. It's a Seasonic S12 II inside. Decent but not top notch, but at that price point you won't find better. The cheapest Seasonic X-Series is twice as expensive, but they are much superior
