Amazon has always been great in my experience. Once I had books arriving late (a month late) and they gave me a full refund, 'cause I paid for express shipping and something happened on the way.

Fuck no it didn't solve my problem. Has anyone ever heard of such "authorization" method, that a bank actually "temporarily" charges your card?
yep I have heard of it, although I will say I have only ever had it happen via those fucking chip and pin machines when somethings gone tits up.
But its the same thing, the bank fucking about.
