That's cheaper than England. The i7-2600K is £239 for the OEM chip. I guess that just proves my point then; it's the VAT increase that's causing the prices to rise in the UK.

... oh and that's on offer too. Usually the 2600K OEM is £274.

I know, but you know what happens whenever any kind of tax rate is increased; stores rip the shit out of their customers.

Yet it hasn't increased too much for us. Datakjeden has the i5-2500K for around 1600kr, which is a scarily good price for a brand new, high-end, component in NORWAY. The i7-2600K is a touch on the pricey side, but still not as bad as UK; 2320kr, while the same chip in England is £239 on offer.

Prices go up and down all the time, you've just got to buy when its on offer, but cpus are still no more expensive than they were a month ago, 2600k is £10 less now than a month ago on ebuyer, also i found a amazon price tracker and most cpus i looked at have come down in price over the last month or two.
I got my 2600k, motherboard and 2x6950 all when on offer saved about £70.
