Is it just the UK or has all websites, companys put the prices up on CPU's? I was just browsing and everything has gone up! Any reason why?

That's cheaper than England. The i7-2600K is £239 for the OEM chip. I guess that just proves my point then; it's the VAT increase that's causing the prices to rise in the UK.
... oh and that's on offer too. Usually the 2600K OEM is £274.

the difference between those two is 10% (2600k OEM .de £225.85 .uk £247.99), VAT only went up 2.1%

Prices go up and down all the time, you've just got to buy when its on offer, but cpus are still no more expensive than they were a month ago, 2600k is £10 less now than a month ago on ebuyer, also i found a amazon price tracker and most cpus i looked at have come down in price over the last month or two.
I got my 2600k, motherboard and 2x6950 all when on offer saved about £70.
