Still on XP32. No drivers for my MX500 on vista. It works out of the box, but the accel curve is different. Also, slow GDI on Vista/7 annoys the fuck out of me. Then there's unneeded shit in it like Biometry and what not. And the thing is spying on you by default. Can't really be bothered right now to start hacking away the fat from it - takes effort and I got really lazy pushing 30.
My XP right now is so hacked up and tweaked I just have no need for new. The only thing I miss in 7 is the reworked Audio subsys - lower latencies, kmixer.sys gone. Couldn't care less for DX11.

Asus, B550, 3700X, 3060, 32GB.

Does any program conflict with Windows 7 64-bit or everything run smoothly?
I need to do some web programming using Visual Studio which is why I'm concerned.

Yeah, you will have no problems with Visual Studio.
The only difficulties you might find is with 16-bit software (DOS games), but you have DosBox for that.
