keeps like 2 gigs of cache and 1000000000 install kits on my drive. for what the fuck he needs to keep them all, no ideea. no obvious option to limit disk cache or set disckcache location.
1 uninstall chrome.
2 get ramdrive software. i use softperfect ramdrive.
3 make a 500mb persistent ramdrive, let's say s letter. (with save content to image option checked).
4 open an elevated command prompt.
5 type mklink /D "C:\Users\USER\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome" "S:\temp"
temp should exist on s, chrome should not exist on c. replace USER with your user. c with your os partition
6 type mklink /D "C:\Program Files (x86)\Google\Chrome" " S:\chrome"
same shit like above. delete x86 if you have an x32 os.
make a shedule taks to delete content of C:\Program Files (x86)\Google\Update folder on logon.
reinstall chrome. yeah, i know. still is the best and fastest browser from my pov, and i canot just drop it.
