I'm thinking of getting one but have no idea where to start and which is good. I want it to show images from my computer and be shining on a wall about 1 and a half metres by 3. The 'projection distance' Will only be a few metres so it doesn't need to be super powerful as long as the image is crisp and good to do various things on it. and if need be, play games / draw etc.

And I'll spend a few hundred £'s on one. But like I said it doesnt need to be the best one around. I'm looking at around the £350 mark at most.

I think its going to be quite hard to achieve with what you are willing to spend.
gotta be at least 450 Pounds.

nah there are some cheap ones for like £100 and some brand new super high power ones for £1000. Like i said its only going to be for my bedroom for films and TV maybe. It will only need to project about 3 metres (at most) and I want the image size to be about 1.5metres in diameter.

I have a BenQ 6100 DLP Projector and im quite pleased with it. I picked it up last year for about $750 Canadian. So what is that, about $400 E. I project to a 100` wide screen and it looks very good. It was the best for the price when i picked it up.
