From filmmaker Yorgos Lanthimos and producer Emma Stone comes the incredible tale and fantastical evolution of Bella Baxter (Stone), a young woman brought back to life by the brilliant and unorthodox scientist Dr. Godwin Baxter (Willem Dafoe). Under Baxter’s protection, Bella is eager to learn. Hungry for the worldliness she is lacking, Bella runs off with Duncan Wedderburn (Mark Ruffalo), a slick and debauched lawyer, on a whirlwind adventure across the continents. Free from the prejudices of her times, Bella grows steadfast in her purpose to stand for equality and liberation.

1 and 2 are still amazing.

Anythng with the Ruffalo in it is worth watching, if anything just to check his character's complete unlikeness to anything he's done before (with the exception of Avengers, of course Cool Face ).

I read Emma Stone has some nice “scenes” in it so I might get it for that… for science.

If this is on the same level of The Lobster or The Killing of a Sacred Dear it will be a must watch!

I've liked all the movies by Lanthimos so far - each with its own dose of ridiculously bizarre yet intriguing plot developments Very Happy Laughing - so I'm pretty curious about this one despite the so-so premise.

It's less artsy than his previous films. It's basically a very cynical Forrest Gump.

Tits or not (Emma Stone not really my type) the movie really looks appealing to me. Great to see there's already a WEB-DL available.

Yeah, enjoyed this one. Very funny, especially Mark Ruffalo's descent into madness 😁 steam punky visual style is cool too
