like the title says... best way to ivtc? live in a pal region so never needed to bother with it before.

is it best to ivtc when creating the d2v file, or the avs file? or vdub filter or vdub default? i only ask because i hear varying answers on how to best ivtc, as some are more reliable than others... thanks

i always ivtc when creating the d2v, some sources will need filters afterwords. otherwise, usually works fine in d2v creation.

You can use avisynth to ivtc and recode, or use directshowsource and some mpeg2 decoder (like the one from powerdvd) but that's not recommended.
