That's why you extract the ISO using Xbox Image Browser. It basically takes all the files inside the ISO and puts it in a folder on your external hard drive.

Thank you for the great guide, bought my RGH xbox360 today and everything seems to be working great.
One thing's bugging me though: the freestyle dash the seller had installed displays dash version 15574, isn't that supposed to be unhackable? Or is it just that the FSD is 15574 and the problem is when there's just an unhacked 15574 installed?

It's been fixed, thanks for reminding me. Using XeBuild v1.03 you can use it both on Phat and Slim.

if you already have RGH then you can flash hacked 15547 dashboard to your nand.
but if you do not have RGH and you do not have an nand backup from old dashboard 14719 and before. and you have updated to 15547 dashboard you are screwed RGH is not possible until Team Xecuter cracks the new RC4 encryption.

When in xexmenu, if I copy a game dvd (scene release) to a directory should I need to delete the $systemupdate folder just to be on the safe side ?.

huh ? i can flash back and forth , just have your original nand ... who would be so stupid to erase that ??? and whats the point of not having the new dashboard ??? new xbla games will not work if you don't have it and it adds new kinect optimizing functions |

huh ? your wrote when you install 15547 dash your locked into it , with no going back or updating your dumped nand because this new dash encrypts your nand , disables IP CPU and DVD keys etc..., i answered when you have your original nand and keys you can go back and forth to any dash like I just fucking did and that people that didn't have theirs original retail nand and update to new dashes are stupid....

the thing was why bother having your original virgin nand when you could decrypt your updated dash nand and install new dashes on it ... but then 15547 came and people go ape shit crazy because they not only loose CPU . DVD keys that you could sniff though IP LAN but NAND is encrypted making it not flashable or upgradeable... simple your FUCKED MAKING YOU STUCK FOREVER ON 15547 but if you have nands before it you can do what ever whenever with your sexbox360 |

can be retrieved so every dashboard on slims currently is glitchable again once the cr3 and dgx addon is released to resellers. an fat cr3pro is in the works.

You can use any 2.5" hard drive on a JTAG/glitched console because the HDD security checks are removed in FreeBOOT.Put the HDD in the caddy and insert into the 360. Go to settings/memory and format from there

Yep. Actually was thinking about ordering a internal hdd for my RGH. And was wondering what the process looks like, if it's that easy.

Well I got my X360 Slim Trinity RGH back from a Shop, he used a 360-squirt-bga-2-0-100mhz-coolrunner on it. Works very wel, FS3 installed and XeX etc. Got an external hdd for games but seeing that some iso's are just huge, while they are half the size or even 1/3 in size. I extracted some and tried GOD format. But whats actually the best way to save space? Can I also use DLC on extracted games or does it need to be a GOD file? I do actually remove all padding (full) but I dont save the iso anyways, since XIB can't read it. My ISO's of games will soon be over 400gb in size on my backup external..
