Poatan just ran through Jiri, I was laughing all the while at the "he was just on world tour and Jiri was in the gym !!!111!!1!1!" narrative.
If you follow Pereira's instagram you'll see that he's pretty much ALWAYS in the gym, even with fucked up toes (the smaller ones from 300) he just puts some shoes on and goes after it, and even abroad he's still doing some work, worst case just some light work or playful sparring with someone. Absolute beast.
Love Jiri too but he needs to get some defense while he still has that great chin 
Ige and especially Lopes put on a good fight, Lopes is definitely champ material and he'll go very very far but has to decide if he goes with brazil or mexico (nah, not really, very unique guy  ). Only thing that was missing was his corner combing his hair, Volkov style
Rest of the card was meh. Cuckchado IS smart fighting like he did and winning that but still sucks, and gets absolutely destroyed by JDM, shavkat, Belal or Leon.
Skipped whamen fight because OFC.
Good on Dolidze for winning that, Pyfer still doesn't convince me as well as that meriderp Payton pretty boy.
Didn't see the early prelims and probably will keep it that way.
BTW, this weight missing fuckery of late really needs to stop. Even if the retard that misses weight wins ,part of the money should go to the guy who lost because if not then what the fuck are we doing here? First Gastelum and now Ortega, shit sux doods

Aspinall did great avenging his loss, was maybe a slight early stoppage but not too controversial IMO. Pussy Jones will continue to duck him, hopefully by means of going to actual jail for the shit he pulled earlier in the year, a man can dream.
Aside from that let's see, Allen, Wood and Pimblett did great. Shame that Wood didn't get the finish, and Pimblett I think will lose to Moicano if that fight happens.
Robocop was solid as always and hopefully they'll give him a ranked opponent next time.
Special note to Kape and Mokaev: cut both these fuckers. What a shit fight, Kape was terrified of getting taken down and Mokaev looked like Rousey on the feet. And now Mokaev is supposed to get a title shot? Wut?

Also, Edwards looked and fought like shit. Then again, I never considered him to be such a great fighter, and I was quite shocked Usman had been unable to get the best of him.
Happy for Aspinall – great lad, monster in the cage. Pimblett did well too.

Only saw the main card.
- Tuivasa seems more interested in whatever he has going on outside the cage than in working to improve his shit, so he seems that he's sorta done with making it in the UFC. That judge that gave him a 30-27 was promptly told to fuck off
- Hooker is a lunatic, guy really isn't all there and it will be interesting to see him against Fiziev/Gaethje/Oliveira. Feel bad for Gamrot though, guy wanted to make it not boring to see if he got a title shot and lost the fight.
- Don't kare about kara and his shit ass tattoos, hope that the loss doesn't break Erceg for good
- Titzy looked pretty good but Dricus is just a tank, unbelievable performance from him but there's a ticking clock for all the damage that chin will be able to absorb. That said, I can't see him losing the belt to anyone anytime soon, including my pookie bear Bobby Knuckles He'll perform even better against Strickland in a second fight, destroy chimaev/imavov/allen/etc and even put it on my Bobby again
Titzy also was graceful in defeat, much more than expected but DDP also clinged to him right after the fight and explained his shit, was nice to see them behind the scenes showing respect for each others families and coaches.

306 was meh aside from lopes/ortega, it was also great seeing meth clown losing

- buckley is a little too basketball american on the mike, but his fights are consistently must watch, great job this time and also loved the marty from nebraska callout, I hope that fight happens
- dolidze x holland was meh
- bautista vs aldo was okay, shame that aldo didn't invest more in the leg kicking; just like mcassclown, seems like whenever they return after going out to do some boxing that they compromise their former styles that led them to the top. Bautista can have the worlds largest gas tank, but if you can fuck up his legs/leg proper therefore his movement that would make the fight easier IMO, case in point...
- great main event, the first two rounds were really really tense because khalil looked pretty good. 3rd round and with his leg and movement getting compromised was the beginning of the end, but I still didn't like alex with his hands down most of the 4th, even if khalil was already fucked up Those two final liver shots though, DAYUM. Hope he fights dumbkalaev next BUT it would be even funnier if Rakic just wins that fight next month, I really hope that happens now
Also, how shit/dumb are Jiri and Hill? So far Khalil and Jan were Pereira's biggest tests at LHW, props to both of them. |
