Yep, there are situations that can create some special moments in the game.

I am considering buying this game from Epic since there is currently a sale and I got a coupon from it. Does anyone know if Epic version has cross-play with the Steam version? Is there any downsides other than having a shitty launcher?
I am really interested in online components for this game. If anyone knows the answer I would really appreciate it.

M&K IMO
sar·casm | \ ˈsär-ˌka-zəm \
1: a sharp and often satirical or ironic utterance designed to cut or give pain
2a: a mode of satirical wit depending for its effect on bitter, caustic, and often ironic language that is usually directed against an individual
b: the use or language of sarcasm

Definitely a gamepad game for me.
I prefer a mouse for shooting but there's not enough of that here.
for such a chill game I like the analogue movement and smoother camera you get with a controller.

Started with gamepad, ended with m+k
Especially the menus are worlds better with m+k. The rest is decent enough with it as well.
Driving too, unlike in other new game releases that shall not be mentioned.

M&KB controls are responsive and work very well overall, not too different from MGSV's implementation. The menus and UI do suck regardless of the controlling scheme as per Jap tradition, though it's quite easy to get used to them.
Then again I never use the pad unless I'm physically forced to do so, I'm the one who soldiered through Dark Souls with the ghetto dsmfix zero fucks given mode

My playthrough was with a kb&m, worked perfectly well. I'm sure there would have been a couple instances where a controller's vibrations enhanced the experience, but meh.

For me it's not about how precise or quick it is. Obviously a mouse is better there.
For this game I enjoy smoothly panning the camera around to look at the environments.
Mouse just isn't good at that.

Whats preventing you to "smoothly" pan the camera with the mouse ? Lower the dpi and "smoothly" pan the camera if you so desire.

You can never really be as smooth as with a controller, moving at a perfectly even pace at a perfectly straight line. There's gonna be variations when you move your hand across the pad like that.
There's a reason a controller is used for camera pans for trailers and shit when you're not scripting a camera movement.

There's a reason a controller is used for camera pans for trailers and shit when you're not scripting a camera movement. | Also when you have a lot of cargo on your back so you have to press both triggers to balance or just one, then you feel the controller vibrating, can't do that with a mouse

I want it!
I LOVE the idea of a haptic mouse. I mean... why the hell not? I can think of a million uses for it - presuming it's programable....

I'd bet the contacts wear out quicker when the mouse is vibrating. Probably a high failure rate.
