Hah, I made a game somewhat like that for another forum once, it was pretty fun, but it does take a bunch of work to make the game fun for everyone (e.g. someone like Syco who posts like 100 times as much as the average user would probably have a much larger army and be able to bash pretty much anyone, which makes the game not much fun for the new/casual posters)
The rep system Horrordee came up with I've seen on another forum, but it was replaced there, because they didn't like it. And I don't think being made VIP should be dependent on it.

I have to agree with this.

Exactly. I'd rather see that than this.
That way, you can check the box so you get no off-topic shit, read what you need to, then uncheck it and see what everyone's saying you know?
