I used Opera before and I really liked it, but then I switched to Firefox cause my old comp had problems with Opera for some reason. I got so used to Firefox that it was hard to switch back when I got a new comp.

I'll check it out no doubt.

doubt opera can have any problems with hw, at least i haven't experienced with more than 100 pc's running it

I wouldn't change Firefox for nothing! I guess I'm kinda addicted to add-ons... Plus I've got used to FF...

I hate Firefox and all other shitty browsers. I have Opera v9.27 installed and tuned a lot that it doesnt even look like Opera and so far I love it. Its been years. Opera is so powerfull I wont ever switch to any other browser for a long time. Will Opera 10 will be any good? I doubt that, because developers usualy remove all the good things and add a ton of other crappy features I'm not interested in.

ff never felt smooth and as fast as opera for me
memory leaks and constant crashes are also pretty dramatic with ff

plus if u do reformat u have to back up settings and app data folder, with oprera i just copy past Opera folder in to program files and it's ready to work with all flash and other plugins alread in it, no install required

I was using Opera about 8 years ago, when I still had dialup. It was a motherfucking crash galore on my win98 !

I'm STILL taking revenge ! FF FTW.

Well, I'm not impressed. Dropbox does exactly the same thing without installing opera. And the files on dropbox will still be there when your comp is switched off. Unlike Opera Unite Laughing

Ehmm... it has dragon fly, which is pretty much the same as firebug. open opera 10.5 click somewhere on the page with the right mousebutton and select inspect element.

I've tried it out. Was slower for me than Chrome. And all the "customization" I need is right there.

In Chrome you can't even properly remove ads. It hides them, yes, but doesn't remove them, which is what an ad-blocker is supposed to do.

You know, if you said, I tried out firefox and it was slower, this would have been believable.

But Opera IS faster. And I couldn't live without mouse gestures anymore Smile They are so easy to use and you can surf so much faster ...
