Why do you ask about infamous then, gonna buy a ps3?
I'm on that mission where you steal the heli after consuming a blacklight dude, you're supposed to evacuate some units and then destroy a hive, I destroyed the hive but the red skull still appears and NOTHING's happening...What the hell am I supposed to do here?

I would suggest he downloads or rents Prototype then, at least that way he'll have the answer to half the question.
Personally I feel that while Infamous is good, it's not good enough to justify purchasing a PS3 just to play it.

No way, Infamous is not something you would buy a PS3 for. Honestly with the new upcoming exclusives for the PS3, I suggest you think about getting one.

Right, because you wouldn't see a guy standing 10 centimeters from you BEING CONSUMED by a mutant.
Also, you wouldn't notice weapons lying around.
And missing personell IN A FUCKIN MILITARY BASE.
But meh, it's nitpicking really.
Are you serious? Have you played this game? If you had you would know that if military personnel noticed guns laying on the ground the game would be not only mind numbingly difficult but not in the least bit fun.
Also, you should probably take a second to realize you're talking about realism in a game where you can jump 50 stories and throw cars at helicopters.
It looks as if the camera is pointing in the wrong direction 90% of the time. Further the auto-lock-on fails miserably You can see how it targeted the helicopters, allthough there had been enemy right next to the player... And most of the animations look wrong So predefined
and btw, the lock-on works great.
it targets the helicopters because it's the highest priority target in the vicinity.
the small guys attacking the main character there are really not too dangerous at all and you wouldn't normally use lock-on to fight them, but you would lock on for a helicopter.
it's also very quick and easy to switch targets.
Finished it and I stand by my previous 7.5/10. It gets a bit repetitive towards the end and part of what's fun is unlocking new upgrades which you don't get to really do in the last half of the game. No real fun ones anyways.
Still, a fine game by my standards and one that I might very well replay, something I don't do often with these sorts of games.
Elizabeth and the last boss absolutely ruined the game for me... I was extremely pissed off and happy I finished it so I could fucking get it out of the way. It was not a pleasant experience, not something I will buy now and something I completed because I had invested quite some time into it...
Completed it too. The last boss, wasn't that hard. Elizabeth was worse actually
Agreed, I spent a lot of time on Elizabeth, but the last guy was way too easy. He did get me twice, but majority of the fight, I was in control. I'll get around to doing the sidequests and such later, trying to free up some more time for other games coming out.

At some point I stopped doing the events because they got just too hard to be fun anymore (at least for me). I did do all the glide events because they still _were_ fun until I got one that wanted me to land under a bridge which I couldn't pull off at all.
Then I take a look at the the points cost of some of the skills.
Then I take a look at what you get for those events.
...are they crazy? I have a couple of skills left to buy and after adding all those points I needed... my result was that I need roughly about 8 million points to buy those skill (and there may well be some left to be unlocked. Sry, that's ridiculous...)
Hm. Ok, seems getting those EP isn't all that hard.
Combine the hammerfists with the hamertoss move and an infected water tower and your good to go.

Haha, this is basically how i felt after defeating the last boss, when it loaded me back into the game, i off'd the 360 right away as i can not be arsed with the game anymore.

well, you could steal an helicopter, but its stressful as the fucker throws stuff at it instantly you get in it, and you can only take 3-4 hits. The military deals quite a lot of damage. But well, I used the spikes (full upgrade ofc). He seemed pretty much resistant towards meele attacks, and its really dangerous to be close when he uses his arms or whatever it is that shoots trough you and kills you when he pulls them back -.- I was hiding a lot to regain my health too Its not really that dangerous when the military are after you on that mission, because they will always concentrate more on killing him.

I enjoyed it (except some part that were a bit tedious)
But now I've got some questions story wise, maybe somebody can answer them?

So when and how did Cross end up being/becoming a Supreme Hunter? O.o When he said "When I consume you, I'll get out of here, bla bla." I was like "wtf?"
I suppose he got infected somewhere along the way? But seeing as he could maintain his original "disguise" he must've been a lot more evolved than the regular hunters?

Greene got codenamed MOTHER and her child got codenamed PARIAH, right?
So who the hell is PARIAH? At first I thought Alex was Green's child but in one of the WOI flashes they talk about Greene and Mercer and how they are different from PARIAH.
Did we find out who PARIAH was?
