Hat3r the GNS crack off the image will only work on Version 1.00 not version 1.01, if you updated it to 1.01 and then copy the 1.00 crack over you will get that problem.
you will need to get hold of the new 1.01 crack that GNS have released.

Oh God I love the micro AI.
Just watching a squad moving down to a village is epic, how they cover eachother, how they peek around corners, how they suppress the enemy.
It's all wonderfull !
Now just give me the 19th so that I may hit something for once ._.

Coop.
Warfare mode where a commander builds a base, and you capture towns/kill enemies to gain money which lets you buy ammo and in the end destroy the opposing teams base. In this mode you can also recruit AI troops to control, to help you take out the enemy. This happens across the entire map.
Then you also have CTF, DM, TDM.. The mission maker decides the size of the area where you fight.

the Squad AI now is too awesome, i was like... wuh... where's the enemy?.. oh... they're all dead now?? since when?... 3 minutes ago??... but i havent fire a shot yet!... lolz

For those who have a X2-GPU (eg. ATI dual GPU-users), to get the game to use both you need to:

Why does my computer keeps shocking in the game.
I've got:
M2N-Sli Deluxe mainboard
AMD Phenom II 940 BE
XFX GeForce 8600GT @ SLI !
6GB Ram
Im running on windows vista enterprise x64 with sp2.
Why am I not able to run this game smoothly. even on low it doenst! ! :/

I have 1.01 and have tried using the image and the crack exe, and FADE is in effect in both scenarios and missions. After playing a while the ARMA II logo and music comes on and the graphics gets blurry. I will purchase the game when it's out but it's just too expensive now to buy from Germany.

ai seems to suck ass at times....walked right up to "enemy man,close in front", the guy just stood n looked at me, gun up, didnt fire...so i got my team to follow me, and there we were, standing looking at an enemy, didnt fire at him, and he just stands looking at us, i fire a shot at his legs, hit him, and STILL he stands there looking at us....actually did this on a few enemies, even walked up to an enemy BNP and it just drove off... wtf

Bah right after a cut scene i just get killed in less than 0,1 sec.
hm after the 6th time i survived.
sigh now i just saved before my 4th team member dies crap and the other save was 50 min ago ffs

Reported effects of FADE in Arma:
* "Illegal copies may deteriorate"-text in the middle of the screen.
* "Fanfare sound" , and ARMA2 text, followed by wobbly screen.
* Gun accuracy out the window. Missing every shot, all the time.
* Turning into a bird.
* Friendlies and hostiles walking through buildings (like through walls)
* Friendly AI stops following orders (eg. doesn't regroup, etc.)
* Car turning doesn't work properly
Seems like it gets worse and worse the more you play it. I've been able to get through the first couple of missions with little/no FADE. But then I start seeing my shots spread like crazy (like, aimed standing shot 100m hits 200m to my right).
This tested both with GENESIS-crack and the latest YASU with clone.
Still, awesome game. Runs so smooth for me with 1.01-patch that I keep playing regardless.

One thing I noticed that I really, really like is that every fifth shot is a tracer on the MG's, and that the ballistics in-game are proper! As you hit a sharp surface, you see the tracers ricochet and BOUNCE like they do with real guns (for those of you that have fired real guns with tracers).
Also, notice the arc! It's using proper gravity calculations. Not sure about wind though. Would like to know if there's WIND affecting the bullets in ARMA2.
I also think fisk should be unbanned.

What you can do is find out if the folks playing the original game experience the same thing.
