Already tried reinstalling like 5 times, just got hold of rFORCE installer so gonna try it to see if it makes any difference.

Hmm it worked with the rFORCE installer (the folder without patches is 3,6 gig now) and it starts the game without problems, kinda odd that vitalitys installer didn't extract the locale folder.

I have a few games on the go right now im a bit slow at getting into dow2 fully, really nice though just not enough hours in the day for all games at the min.

I'm having some troubles with the loader and the latest patches (1.3.1 and 1.3.2). To my knowledge I did everything as stated, I install the Vitality release, DirectX and GFWL, copy the patch files, and then use the packed Loader iNatan has in the first post, but when I run the loader I get an error 3:0000065432. I tried an older patch, 1.2.1, and also an even older 1.1.3 or something and both of those still give me the same error. The only way I've been able to run DoW2 is by running the version 1.0 with the Vitality crack.
I put all the files from the loader pack in the root folder of the installation. I tried running the loader as administrator. I tried reinstalling the VC 2008 redistributable. Tried running the DoW.exe from a fully updated Steam. Nothing works unfortunately, always the 3:0000065432 error.
If it helps I'm on Vista 32bit SP2.

Move away the revloader files, have steamup-cracked steam running in the background, then run the executable directly, not through steam.

Ok I did that, but when I run the exe I get a P:0000065432 error. I ran SteamUp in offline mode.

Try renaming the WinTrust.dll to WinTrust.dll.bak. I remember having problems with that.

Ok I finally got it to run using that, except the steam_appid.txt file has to be there or it wouldn't run. Thanks!

Sorry to revive an old thred, but I need some help. I just reinstalled the rForce release. It started fine without any patches. I install the 1.3.1 patch (the "full" one), and it just gives me DOW2.exe has stopped working. Anyone know what's wrong?
Edit: Tried running the game with -logs. I checked the logs, and it said that wintrust.dll might be unsafe, and it fatal errored after that. I renamed the file, and it works flawlessly.

I cant find all the patches anymore. I have only 1.3.1 and 1.3.2

After extracting the 1.50 patch and the revloader, do I extract just the content.bin from the preorder.rar file for the extra content?

Well, you used to need a DLL as well, but I don't think it works with the latest patches. Try just the BIN file.
As usual, make sure you make backups.

Please also upload to a mirror, rapidshare never seems to have free slots anymore...
EDIT: Managed to get it but I'm getting this error now
ProcName value not found on commandline or in rev.ini
I think the file rev.ini is missing from the pack..
