Personally I won't buy it right away. I'll wait for the usual bundle packs (NO, NOT THAT BUNDLE!).
The stock is fine, but it's still only stock. Once all expansions are released and no more DLC are offered, then I'll buy it so that I can get the whole experiece at once.

If you wait that long, a new Sims 4 will be released by then. I don't think there is a bundle that even has the Sims 2 plus all the DLC and expansions yet.
Is there a way to own a whole business? Or can you only be a partner?

To buy the business just go back there when you have more money (think it's like 3x the value of becoming a partner to buy it out)

Start cooking something in the oven, but interrupt the activity before your Sim takes it out. Worked for me once (the only time I unintentionally tried it). |
Hmm.. There must be another way of doing it. Considering they have an actual life time aspiration thing called "Be in a fire" LOL

Make sure you don't have the Natural Cook trait, as that makes it so you can't start fires while cooking.

Hmm, to kill or not to kill my wife... She's bringing in 230 per day in retirement (we are both like 80 years old), but im sort of sick of her, plus im hitting it off with this hot girl in her 20's. LOL
My mission is to impregnate as many as possible, spreading those faulty genes around town!!
Then when my old sim dies, and i create a new one, i'll have a town totally different and messed up with a huge genepool of hot women running around 
EVERY kid my sim has gotten so far has been female, and twins too.. Every single time, female twins. And they'r all hot since i only impregnate hot sims. LOL what a game. If only RL was like that eh?

That should work. A way that no longer works, compared to the previous Sims, is telling them to get into the pool and remove the ladders. Sims can now hop out of the pool via the edges.
Of course, if you can directly control the Sim, you can tell them to stay in the middle of the pool till their energy runs out and they drown. However, it's not a viable way to kill neighbours and other NPCs.

Hmm. That's suspicious. The only two kids I've had are girls. Twin girls.
Has anyone had boys or are male Sims destined to go extinct eventually due to a rather nasty bug?

Shadow actually, you can place pools right up to the edges of walls. So in theory you could have a pool with all edges right up against the walls, apart from 1 small square where you have the ladder, which you remove and add a wall there to seal it in.
They shouldnt be able to climb up anywhere then =)
