A friend of mine grabbed the WARG release and he said it installed perfectly. Whether that's a "proper" installer or not, it *did* work.

My apologies. Looks like I overlooked your post & jumped right onto asking the query in a hurry. So it's directly install, mount & play (using Daemon Tools Pro + DTE) right?
I hope it doesn't run into any install errors. Thanks again Ricky.

Yeah the WARG release works fine installs properly and works with Yasu and DT lite no probs. I just completed it and tbh it was a pretty meh game, the action never realy elevates past mediocre level, the set pieces are pants (a few times when a chunk of rubble falls from the wall or roof with a T600 behind it) and there only about 5 different enemy types all the way through with the same methods of defeating them, throw nade shoot a bit rinse+repeat, and the voice acting sucks hard and even without a good story to save it I give it a 2/10. They could have done so much more with this but it plays and feels more like a mod than a full game.

KrutojPoc wrote: | I like the cover system. I like it very much. You can hide behind any piece of garbage you see in the game, and switch your cover fast. |
But you can take cover only behind the walls, cars, etc. decided by the programmers, and they forgot a lot of them!
For example in a level there's a bus with a grenade launcher inside, useful because in that point you fight with four (or five?) T-600s.
You can go inside the bus, but you can't take cover in that place, so it's highly probably that you die if you try to get it during the battle.
Another thing: if during a cover you are over a weapon that you don't have and you want to take it, you have to stand up (exposing yourself), take the weapon and then hide again.
This is really stupid.
Other flaws could be that you can't sprint or dodge, very useful moves in Gears of War that I missed in this game.
But there's not really need of them, since the game it's so easy also with the hard difficult setting.

Nice idea for a Terminator game but it needs to be more epic and well not this, I still imagine a call of duty styled game with hundreds of machines coming through the rubble.

What we need is a Deus Ex style game where you play the terminator. Upgrading your abilities and possibly switching sides in the middle of the game.

You mean Future Shock and Skynet? There was no skill enhancing / level gaining rpg feautures in those games...and i dont think there was any Terminator game that would be part-rpg.
