Really? So was it them, the team, that decided it wasn't necessary to give a decent quest log or even CANCEL a quest? Gets old having some dipshit follow you all over the place cause you couldn't complete the broke quest.
Or the lack of epic battles they seemed to brag about, rats rats rats rats, skeleton.....killing me from underground somehow....a few pikmins here and there and more rats...........huge rat.... |
This is pretty much my thoughts as well. I thought they would have learned their lesson from Sacred Underworld. You couldn't walk 5 feet without getting attacked by a snake, etc. I had a bunch of broken quests as well, not mention they were a massive mixture that was hard to decipher. How hard is it to copy Diablo II? LOL!

Do it. I got mine from Play.com and it cost me a TENNER. Despite the repetitive nature of the game, it was still well worth it.

last time I heard something about this was 2.34, highly doubt that anyone is interested in a 2.40 hack, plus I hear it has LAN problems...

The hack'n'slash gameplay is strange. I hate it when the characters don't get synced ... in other words they run towards each other, pass each other and turn around to fight, or step "inside" each other.
Also, when I keep the left-click pressed to keep attacking and after the enemy is dead my char moves a step or two forward, goddamn ! Little shit like these are annoying, when it's 99% of the gameplay ! Diablo 2 and Titan Quest hack'n'slash was 10 times more fluid and satisfying.
Why don't they fix these little details ?
Also, what's this with LAN problems I hear ? Is it same shit as the first Sacred (which I bought last year) where the game was horribly desynced between the clients ? How hard can it be to implement proper local networking ?
The awesome gfx engine and some good character ideas are going to waste. My money won't !

Wasn't it possible to hold down shift or something to attack while standing still or was that another game? (Diablo perhaps?)

Tbh, i found sacred 2 to be one of the most boring h&s games i´ve played. I had fun with diablo, dungeon siege, space siege, titan quest, but something in sacred 2 made the game extremely boring. Maybe it´s the camera or the quests, idk.
