Wait, you write one book and you get every week money for it? wtf! I bought a crappy partnership for this restaurant, payed 12,000! and just get 2100 per week. That sucks!

I've got lots of deeds atm, I own the theatre and the hospital, I get 6k a week from each, and I own the bookstore and the grocery shop. I think they are less than 6k.

The good thing is I'll be giving the deeds to my kids when I die Smile

God, properly taking care of twin babies/toddlers is such a pain. I'd have shot myself if I had gotten triplets. D:

I'll age them up once I've taught them to walk, talk and use the potty (one has also learned music from the xilophone and the other logic from the shapes box thingy). Luckily enough, you don't need to throw a party for that: just buy the cakes, blow the candles and select the target Sim.

Ive enjoyed this game so far.. The only problem im having is occasionally it will freeze up, give a pc beep and then Im stuck frozen with no solution but to hit PC reset button (its been a while since ive had to reset my pc over a freeze up)... Id love to know what I might be able to do to avoid it, but im still gonna play regardless. lol

I have learned I can cause the error by constantly clicking the "zoom to sim" button or whatever its called which I only did to see if it would lock the game...it did. heh

Working flawlessly here, havent had a single crash and i've played for i dont know how many hours so far. Highly addictive concidering i never cared much for the first 2 games.

Seems way to easy to max out all skills though, same with career advancement, ~20 workdays to reach the highest position availible at work doesnt quite fit imo.

Yes Razz

You'll find the file you need to replace in Game\Bin folder (called Shaders_Win32.precomp) - just backup that file then overwrite with the censor hack one.

Works great. Wanna see my ass?

Will need access to the model files though (And that doesn't seem possiible.) or you won't ever get a "package".
(TexMod will probably work for other details though, perhaps in it's current state a scar or something could be added, haha.)

EDIT: Or a EA logo as a mini-censor image. Very Happy
(Tattoos would be a interesting body option as well but more of a mod than a texture modification or it'll be very limited.)

IGN preview, there's one for the normal game and one for the CE edition, haven't read all of it (Probably very similar.) but the above is for the CE edition, Riverview which is that register and download area is also mentioned and sounds like a interesting addition and some stuff is mentioned about the store content and pricing but not much.

Hmm in the bit about Riverview they mention it has a stonehenge as well... I haven't visited the one in the default town yet - anyone ever had something happen there or is it indeed just a prop?

(I have zoomed into the place a few times and there were some small space rocks, but that's about it)

What's the deal with the garden gnomes? I have no idea why I got them, but one time I gone out to get the mail, received the usual shipment of gems, metals and books, and I noticed three gnomes in my inventory. I placed the in the garden...

I can kick them, and if I stand them up, they will stand in a different position than before. Funny little fellas, but I have no idea why I got them with the mail... Smile

I just hope they don't come to life at night and come in to steal my underpants. Razz

They always pop up in my family inventory too - guess it's part of the loot that my sim grabs while working. They're worth ~1k so if you don't like them sneaking about, you can always just sell em. Razz

Funny you should say that .... because the Gnomes DO have a life of their own. No matter where you put them, they move around on their own. Fucking CREEPY shit.

I've got three in my garden - where they keep moving to different parts of the house each day! I woke up the one day and saw one in the kitchen, another in the living room and the last one outside - pointing at my car! Surprised

Maybe they were trying to tell you to eat until you can't move, watch TV all say and don't even think about going to work. Smile

Yeah those little buggers always teleport when you aren't looking - I've never actually seen them do it, they just pop up into different locations. Except Bob, whom I kicked so hard that he bugged and is now stuck to the grass from his waist. Very Happy

Hm, pets are a bit unevenly done in the game. I had a few fishes, and it seems it doesn't matter if I feed them or not, they'll die eventually, while a butterfly is flapping happily in her container for ages now.

Mhm they're more decor/collection than proper pets tho... No doubt there'll be a whole expansion pack dedicated to real pets at some point.

Anyone already figured out how to get a dead sim back to life?

I had a research facility related opportunity - they wanted me to bring an urn of a recently deceased to them for tests or some such. I suppose with luck it might bring the sim in question back to life. I skipped the opportunity though, had no urns to use.

I had the same opportunity and i tried it.
She came back as a ghost and i could control her like my other sims, but i'm looking for a way to get her back to life.

I even tried reading the books Zombies! but that didn't bring me anything Sad

Havent tried this but read this on simsresource.com.
"The life fruit can be used to extend the life of a Sim, but if used in cooking to make a quality Ambrosia, it can be used to bring ghosts back to life."

in the first part gnomes where the sign of a poltergeist
was funny when one day it was the gnomes, the other day all furniture will block your way,
the other Death will cook you dinner, wash your dishes, move the furniture back, smash those gnomes and take all your money for this exorcist service

use fraps to catch this... its funny shit
