well, i'm kind of disapointed by this game. I've been playing with a friend in co-op and we made it to chapter 6 so far. so far i shot spiders, wasps and T-600. is there any more variation in the ennemies in the later levels? It's boring, way too much bloom, the graphics are mediocre at best, the accuracy sucks. Even that 50cent game was more fun than this... hope the movie will be better than the game

i only posted because ppl seem to ask the same questions over and over on almost every thread for instance when will ppl realise that all new games will be 3 rd wave very soon so either upgrade your firmware or stop asking on every release, of course if u dont like a title then say so but to say it wasnt worth a blank is just so wrong these guys do this for a living and what u and most ppl here do is try to put them out of business for the most part by a ripping off every game released onto the scene and then bad mouthing the game so that anyone that may buy it wont, i have played tons of games over the yrs my gamerscore is around 112000 and have an open mind on all games, what ppl dont get is they cant all be cod4, gow or gta4 u will only get 5-10 triple A titles a yr, and most games that ppl have said are not worth a verb i have played and got quite a bit of enjoyment out of it well when im not watching porn eh. if something is free u dont get as much enjoyment than if u pay for it because if u pay u will want to get your monies worth when its free it doesnt matter. anyway i know fuck all and everyhing i have written is just the ramblings of a fool that doesnt give a shit.
As for framerate, the 360 version runs smooth, while the PS3 is a jaggy mess that chugs along in slow motion.

I payed for all my PS3 games but i had more enjoyment with my pirated xbox 360 games, so i dont agree, but you are right about the rest, people should be banned for a few days by a moderater if they go off-topic especially when its a Wave 3 question.

I noticed I yawn a LOT while playing this game. Im currently up to chapter 7. The game is extremely repetitive. Its not completely terrible though. Its kind of sort of decent. Its playable! lol I plan on finishing it

I agree with you Fractious, at least up to a point. But you just have to buy the game if you want to really support the developers. Otherwise it doesn't mean squiddly squat whether you bad mouth a game or not on a forum like this... (remember what sort of site this is). If a game is bad then it deserves to be slated; for the right reasons at least.
A point was made earlier in this thread about how it is insulting towards the developers that may have spent 2-4 years making this game only for it to be ripped off for free by pirates then bad mouthed. On the flip side it is also insulting to gamers that a developer would release mediocre games in the first place knowing simply that the franchaise the game is based on, alone is probably enough to shift a few more extra copies of the shelves at retail. The past track record of many a sub-par movie tie-in games, is evident enough proof that some publishers use this strategy to sell games.
Think about it, with Terminator Salvation, I bet they could have really made this game into something really good on par with Gears of War. It has the Terminator branding which in itself is pretty cool, a good backstory and tons of resource material from all of the films and the setting is open to many possiblities... but unlike many AAA games that constantly miss their release dates and get pushed back in order for the developers to make the game better (ie:Starcraft2), this simply isn't true with the majority of movie cash-in games. They HAVE to make their release dates around the same time as a film is to be released. Do the publishers give a shit whether the game could be held back in order to make it better?. Personally I think they just want to get it out of the door in time so gamers will snap it up while caught up in the movie hype.
Albeit admittedly this game isn't bad just rather mediocre... but by the same reasoning if you did get any sort of enjoyment out of this game at all then you should go ahead and buy it instead of slating people that openly expressed they don't like it on a warez forum of all places! (where 99% of the people on here are just friggin pirates anyway, with the other 1% excitedly clicking the torrent links at the top of the page not knowing any better).... make your point by going out and spending your hard earned cash.
People who played this and didn't like it chances are wouldn't have given it any time in the first place.. let alone buy it..so nothing is really lost. Opinions are just that, everyone can think for themselves and will know what appeals to them, if they are so easily swayed by negative public opinion without knowing their own mind then more fool to them.
I've bought over 20+ games this year (albeit half of them have been 2nd hand jobbies at local GAME and Blockbuster stores.)... No one is expecting every game to be the next CoD4 or Halflife but I believe if some developers/publishers wouldn't take us gamers as muppets in the first place and would release games that were made with even a modicum of passion (people reportedly finishing this game in 4 hours is not taking the piss somewhat?) then most genuine gamers have no qualms about parting with their cash.

There is one level in this game wich supposedly lasts 37 seconds, i am yet to reach this level but that is fucking pathetic. GRIN should be terminated.

I finished the game in co-op last night and can't recall a level that was 37sec long... i was pretty surprised to see the end credits at the end of chapter 8. i expected there would be at least 10 of those crappy levels.
this game was basicly: kill all robots in area, walk walk walk (with no action what so ever), cutscene. shoot robots in area, walk walk walk, cutscene. I stil don't get why the developers created those walk sequences. you just walk straightforward without encountering any ennemies, and then you have the cutscene or reached the end of the level. was all this walking really necessary?

yes, otherwise the game would only be 30 mins long.

Probably the start , where its teaching you to cover
you can run to the end of that section in less than a minute then you get ANOTHER loading screen , Im temtped to install the thing for the length it will save me in waits

Not a worthless game. But I feel it's like Wanted with a Terminator-mod. Maybe GRIN should just have concentrated on Bionic Commando insteed of releasing two mediocre licence game. BC is a good game, just it seem like these two (Wanted and Terminator) just became made to cash into some extra cash....

Future Shock and Skynet were great games. Too bad they kind of went under the radar when they came out, they had many things other fps didn't have at the time. Pretty open levels, and you could even drive vehicles. I remember how freaking cool I thought the laserrifles was with its nightvision sight...no other games had such a things at that time

This and Velvet Assassin are the only 2 recent games Ive played and this game wins over the other. Worst game Ive played this year has to be velvet Assassin.
