Not here. However I am afraid of something like that happening. I've taken to "Saving As. . .", but it still dumps saves in the default spot in Windows. Guess its just a gamble.

You can always use this to move it (transparently to the game) to another drive.

Some of the item sets that'll be available in the Sims Store (pretty fucking expensive if you ask me, those 4 sets alone would total to ~60$, and that's JUST for some extra items... hope they get leaked and leeched to hell )
Spoiler: |
Rounding out the low end of the chart at 575 Points ($5.75) is the Tiki Set. Thsi set includes a whopping 15 items. 5 Chairs, 4 Tables/counters, a Bar, and 5 Decorative items.
The Storybook Set will run you a whopping 1900 Points ($19). It includes 45 Items. Among those are 5 Chairs/Sofas, 1 Bed, 3 Plumbing Items (A Sink, Tub, and Toilet), 10 Tables/Counters, 6 Build Mode Items (Doors, Windows, and Pillars). And a whole lot of Decorative items and Lights.
The Hewnsman Set will run you 2000 Points ($20) and will include 47 new items. 2 New Beds, 5 Chairs, 5 Tables, 14 New Build Items, and a ton of Decorative Items and Lights.
The final set at launch will be the bayside set runs at 1450 Points ($14.50) and includes a fair 35 Items in it. 1 Chair, 6 Plum
bing Objects, 6 Appliances, 5 Tables, a TV, and a bunch of decorative objects and lights.

And so it begins. Good god those are fucking expensive! Especially for stuff that should've been in the retail game! *grrrr*
Let's just hope the game is moddable, shall we? I'm betting it's not.

Too bad the Sims 2 looks and feels like its 2004, no matter how you mod it. This is 2009, and the Sims 3 feels like 2009 to me.

prob a stupid "we knew that" moment but if you get mechanics to 3(i think) you can do modifications to various household equipment to "auto clean" im not sure what else you can do with the skill but just wanted to add info/help some.
so far im having a blast, although..i believe you will see the so called furnature and such packages show up on the net just like the game. Im not paying 15 bucks for some game chairs if i have to spend 40 bucks on the main game, thats just nuts.

I chatted up my boss (my boss in the medical profession), for a week or so. talking on the phone with her every day. And one saturday when I was off from work i decided to invite her home to me.
Fair enough, she arrived within the hour, and I thought to myself that I'll atleast get her to fall in love with me tonight. Since we had the status of "best friends".
Soo, just as I had greeted her at the door and invited her in, she suddenly asks me to move in with her. First time we met outside of work. But I think "sure, she's probably rich as hell" and chose yes.
Turns out though, that she want me to move in with her, in her house. With her HUSBAND and MOTHER still living there. I thought to myself that that's wierd. She had more than 450,000 but i turned her down. Way to wierd living with her AND her HUSBAND.

Yeah, I'm not talking like tricking.
I mean like, friday the 13th style hockey mask (even a Mike Myers thing would be fun) and thats your career. Or rather, "hidden career"....fuck, you can be a criminal mastermind.

Brilliant.
I finally married this one rich, unemployed chick and moved in with her only to find out she lived in a huge house overlooking the sea with another married couple. Cant have that, so it was time to build a small room outside and move these two fuckers in there. Then delete the door and wait for them to croak (because I didnt want them around and also I took control over them when I moved in for some reason).
Anyway, the chick dies first. Cue the Grim Reaper. He comes in takes her "away", enters my house and starts doing the dishes and cleaning up the mess!!
I was so suprised I forgot to take screenshots.
Anyway, next to die was the dude. This time the Grim Reaper went into the house, sat down in front of the TV and started watching a childrens show before going back to wherever he lives.
Spoiler: | |
Brilliant shit.

I hope to God this game is moddable. The thing about Sims2 is that it came with standalone Create-A-Sim and Object Designer apps --- both are lacking from Sims3, which makes me think EA are trying to stop modding as much as possible in order to promote sales of their, ludicrously expensive, "Packs"
