That's why you're not supposed to cheat in The Sims, dummy... Razz Now you've nothing to work towards, nothing to achieve. Way to go! You just ended your Sims gameplay Laughing

As for me? I'm having a freaking blast!!

Toddler, Child, Teen, Young Adult, Adult, Old.

Though I haven't disabled aging, I have set the lifetime to "epic" instead.

Omg this is fun game! Razz

Played few career levels as a complete sociopath.
Then one day, went fishing, met a filty rich paramedic, got her to wohoo in 3 sim days. My sim woohoo'd and then instead of cuddling or sleeping went to the Art Gallery? WTF lol Very Happy

I've chosen the animal-robot cross-breeder career btw. Never thought at first I really need to improve gardening skills Very Happy

The impressions and sounds the sims makes while going through neighbours trash are also cool. Found a diamond in there and then the neighbour busted me. Luckily he was a fat arse and my Sim outrun him.

Heh sabin, you've put some real effort into your home - I haven't changed the walls or anything and I'm just beginning to change the items. Some of the high-end items aren't really worth it tho - they should all have some special abilities like the self-cleaning stove.

Talking about Criminal Career paths, I had it before but then changed my lifetime goal. First day "working" as a criminal landed me in jail which I didnt like. Very Happy At least I managed to get an athlete skill level while in the slammer.

BTW, I think I am playing with the epic sim lifespan and aging turned off...

Aye, even though it's a tiny little one-floor house -- I've really put a lot of effort into making it look, and feel, like a home. I've mastered the Thief/Criminal career path now, earning over $500/hr three days a week, so I'm using the rest of the time to work on skills and my SciFi novels Laughing

Does anyone know if it's possible to get a NEW life dream? I've done the "Become a Master Thief" one -- and I'm still a Young Adult, lol. I'd rather not be stuck with a completed life-time goal forever Sad

Yes, it's awesome ^_^

Just take a look in this thread so far. Everyone else LOVES it with the exception of maybe two people Razz

Maybe try picking the mid-life crisis happiness reward? I'd imagine it's either disabled completely or it still allows you to change your lifetime goal (=pick a new one).

no surprise that she laughs at you, if you're afraid to play a game because of her

Nah, it just lets you change your TRAITS .. not your GOAL, I tried Sad

Another thing I've discovered; A creepy fucking Gnome. It was in my house inventory, called "Mysterious Garden Gnome" - so I took it out and put it in the garden. I was given a chance to name him, so I did. Now whenever I go to work or to bed, he randomly appears in different places around the house - in different poses! Surprised Surprised

Went to work yesterday, left him on the drive-way pointing at my car, came home and he was in the living room lying on his back with one hand on his stomach.

Creepy shit.

Exactly! As I said; fucking creepy!

One thing I absolutely love about this version of the game; the perks you can buy with your life experience. I've got a bunch of them now and the best ones are the "needs" perks - now my Sim barely ever needs the toilet, his hygiene bar rarely drops, his need for food is rare too. Some of them are excellent Very Happy

You can always use D3D Overrider.

Yeah those and the skill-related perk challenges (quite a few of them from what I've seen) are an awesome addition as well. I actually didn't even notice them at first, until I just happened to push the Skill Journal button in the Skill tab.

The collecting 'minigame' alone should keep one busy for quite a while

I've not seen any ghosts yet, mate. Literally all I've done is focus on my career and my skills - once I've done enough skill learning, I'll start exploring the world (parks, town, shops, graveyard, etc etc)

Yeah, the rich wife had some husband that died in a tragic accident (lmao at dramatic back story Laughing), so maybe the ghost dude is her late husband. My Sims were sleeping when the ghost arrived, and I didn't want to wake them. The lady needs to paint 10 paintings and deliver them to the office, and she should get a lot of money. About being a partner, where do I take the money from the shares?

BTW, ghosts come into your house involuntary, so you shouldn't be doing anything special to see them. Smile

Yeah, it's due to the objects loaded in and out of memory, I think. Defrag your HDD, that should help somewhat.

Leeching it as we speak.

By the way, do some jobs still require inordinate amounts of friends to get to the higher levels? I tended to prefer the ones with low friend requirements (like military and police) given it was too much of a pain to make and maintain over 20 friendships.
