Same here, I finally got some use out of my PS3 in the last couple of months. KZ2 and Infamous......soooo sweet. |

That doesn't make it any less retarded. If no one bought uncracked consoles then there would be no consoles out there in peoples houses for developers to make money off of. Which means that morons like you 2 would have no games to play at all!

i might buy one if they get a nice price cut, would be good to play bluray movies on and a few ps3 games that arent out for the xbox 360. games are getting cheaper now, saw quite a few older ones for £10.

Calm down. I also never buy uncracked consoles. Not everyone is living in US or western Europe, you know. In my country there are no places that rent PS3 games (or any games for that matter), there are barely any places that sell them at ridiculous prices. The only way to get PS3 games at decent price and not 2 months after release day is to import them.
But PS3 will probably be my first uncracked console, must play GoW3.

I can't rent games here either, and I don't use it as an excuse to not give something back to an industry which has given me so much throughout my life.
Don't get me wrong though, if the PS3 is ever hacked I'll play most of my games on it for free, but as with the 360 or any other console that I've ever owned, I'll still buy the stand out AAA titles that I believe are worth it.

Not buy a console? Not buy games? O.o
So basically because the industry thinks it is a good idea to raise prices for everything and my income doesn't rise in the same proportion I am not allowed to bitch about the prices?
Plus you can't change my opinion that 70 bucks for a game is way too much.
The only people that don't care about that are those with enough money, and why those people hang around here and discuss pirating of games is beyong me anyway.

I totally agree with you that 70 euro's is too much for a game. I also pointed out how to get them for much cheaper but it seems as though you didn't notice.

Most PS3 games sell for about 20 or 25 pound in the UK, for people living in the €-area that's quite a good deal if you import.

Games are expensive, but some games are totally worth the money, problem is pointing out which one is actually worth it. There is only one way to (really) find out, and that is downloading and burning. But once i've downloaded a game i find it hard to go to the store and fork out the 60,- for something i already have...

i have a xbox360 flashed 1.51 for most titles in console , a ps3 for the exclusive sony playstation 3 , and a dreamcast when i am in the mood of the old stuff.
and i dont regret buyin a ps3, not a bit.
