I've heard this too. I believe it coincides with a belief that all prevention methods are aimed at the woman, and not the man. And the risks involved in using the pill and otherwise "unnaturally" modifying the female for the pleasure of the man are wrong.
Not that I understand how anal sex pleases the woman, as she has no prostate. *shrug*
I also think fisk should be unbanned.

The recutum is actually a bundle of nerves. So its not suprising that stimulating them can give pleasure. Same way as a good shit can give pleasure, yet different. Also take into fact the psycological efect of doing something "forbidden"
Prevention wise actually 8% of people who use anal sex as prevention get pregnant each year. Due to the splash effect ( read sperm dripping from anus into zhe vagina).

Usually when people say a long read is worth it they lie.
You didnt.
Now the whole poop risk is present. But thats usually because people have been stupid beforehand. Like going out and eating full course meal. The avrage time for food to pass torugh the digestive system is 24-56 hours. Usually in the 24-30 hours. So If you are actually planning butt sex Id recommend not eating around you planned sex time the day in advance.
At the very least be sure to take a good dump before you start. Its only food in the lower digestive track that can come out. Eating a meal close to teh act will usually force some of the erhm fecises down into the digestive track and as such increase the risk of a poop incident.
Why people do it? well you should try it atleast once. Its also sort of a power trip. Effect is not causality.
As such getting turned on by something is an effect that has many causes. what really makes a fetish deviate is usually that you need a very spesific "cause" in order to reach sexual gratification while "normal" people can have many many causes with that effect.
Example is that while doing it with your woman is a turn on I suspect other things can turn you on aswell.
Also note that sexual prefrence and a sexual fetish are seperat definitions.
