Played it for a bit and I love it , yes imo it feels like GoW and the controls are way better then Wanted where it felt like being in slow motion.
Defo worth a verb

I don't think it's very good... not shit but just very average. Very generic third person shooter game, with driving, manning the turret sections that you would have played 100's of times before.. all quite yawnariffic .
Cover system works well but it's hardly anything new either. I havent got very far only chapter 3 at the moment but there doesn't seem enough to keep me interested as to whether to play through to the end..
Perhaps my taste have changed over the years though as I wasn't particularly excited about gears of war either when that came out tbh.. but still comparing Gears and this game, Gears is still in a whole different league. Only saving grace is the Terminator setting and the music both of which I like.
I would say wait for PC as this isn't really worth a verb tbh..

I kinda wonder what game would suit for you , lets see a long time ago there was this game called Doom and wolvenstein, so now in all fps we shoot things so they must be shit right.
Then there was Dune 2 so now in all rts we control units so they must be shit cause heeej what has changed in all those years .
Basicly and this is my opinion it might sound harsh but people like you are born whiners cause doesnt matter what people like you get it will still be shit.

I just expected more then what this game was offering.

First of all I never said anything about the part I liked it or not I just comment to the fact that there isnt any game for you with the comment you made.
And about Space Invaders I doubt with the way you do talk to me u wasnt even born yet when that came out.
Anyway good luck with whining but my best tip for you is to stop playing games cause in the end they all the same.
Ow and I never tell people to get it or not cause everyone expiriance the game himself you either like it or not but what cost a verb nowadays to test out the game and if its not that good but entertaining then u can still say in the end owell it costed me 1 euro 50 cent instead of full price 65 euro.

as for verbs, yes it is easy enough to go out and spend a few quid to test out games ...rather then €65 for the retail.
However some people like to come onto sites like this and get a general impression of a release from other gamers then make up their own mind as to whether to burn of a good game (before they buy of course) or yet another dvd coaster..
Perhaps your happy to spunk your cash out on disks that perhaps may never be played again yet others simply prefer not too waste both disks and money in that way. Anyway it matters not at the end of the day, what you do with your disks/time/cash is your business and what others do with theirs shouldn't even bother you, even though apparantly it does for some strange reason...
I still think the game is a average generic shooter aka yet another movie cash in title and my opinion of T.S still stands whether you like it or not. Keep waiting for PC release I would say if you haven't already burnt off a copy and are still sitting on the fence on this one.

i have visited this site for many many yrs and the one thing that always runs through almost every post is should i waste a verb on this? is it 3rd wave? this game is shit !! i wish i hadnt d/l'd it, i take zero info on games from this site as u really need to waste that 1 dvd-r to look at a game or go to IGN and then u need to play it for a few hrs and then decide if its for u or not, if it is then great u just saved 40 quid on that game and if its not then u just wasted a whole shiny dollar END OF THE WORLD ?. What do u guys eat and run your cars on water? its painful to read, but i guess u just want to post for the counters sake oh and u got nothing better to do. (Let The Flaming Commence)
As for framerate, the 360 version runs smooth, while the PS3 is a jaggy mess that chugs along in slow motion.

yea it's like a cheap gears knock off. the lighting is off so the graphics aren't all that hot and you will shoot a lot of the same shit over and over but overall still pretty fun. haven't noticed any crappy control problems either. kinda suffers from the same stupid shit the first gears did, like making a checkpoint before a bunch of talking and shit so that when you die you end up wasting a lot of time waiting on something you can't skip through.
it is pretty much just a straight forward run and gun shooter. doesn't require a lot of strategy and no hidden shit to look for (thank god) and ammo is plentiful and easy to find, no searching around for it. i could be a bit biased because i love the terminator universe but if nothing else drop it to medium and go balls to the wall. simple achievement fodder too for the achievement whores.
