Seems it was answered already but the advertisement banners now up on the IGN website says the 19th and the Steam store page shows the 29th so I guess the first one is indeed the US release date whereas Steam shows the EU date as that's the region I'm located in.
Perhaps a "Steam rip" on the 20th then?
(Unless it uses digital activation as that's also possible, shouldn't take that long for a scene group like say Razor1911 to bypass though, might perhaps even get a retail clone unless Steam is the actual DRM system like Fear 2 to name a example or Saints Row 2.)

I bet it'll use SecuRom activation like Grins other games Bionic Commando Rearmed and Wanted.
Copy protection methods are usually chosen by the publisher, not the developer. It sounds like your basing your wager on a belief that Grin chooses the copy protection methods themselves, and I strongly doubt this is the case. It's not the standard in the industry, anyways.
Also, Steam listings usually mention if games use Securom, and there is no mention of it on the page for Terminator Salvation.

I'm aware of that, just don't be surprised if it does.
Actually this game is nothing to wait for. Nothing special anyway.
Is the 2012 mayan prediction going to come true? Damn psychic forum trolls never give up anything good.
Yeah, I got a mayan console to play the game. It is nothing special, Gears o War is so much better. Lousy graphics - ok, the resolution may be better on the PC, but it won't improve the quality of graphics. The music is allright. Gameplay sucks, controls are not good (you can't jump over obstacles) the cover system is not working as good as in Gears of War. No point in getting this one unless you are a Terminator fan. Unfortunately, the Terminator franchise is very hard for games, there was only one good: Terminator: Judgement Day (and its sequel, Skynet). All others were shit.
Signature/Avatar nuking: none (can be changed in your profile)
