I honestly don't know why, even given the 2011 timeframe, the devs didn't incorporate proper weaponry that would be "believable" for the setting. Seriously, all 3 Terminator movies have proven that bullets against a Txxx are about as effective as M&Ms against Fort Knox. |
Well, Salvation actually takes place in 2018, I believe. The reason I said 2011, is that was the year that Judgement Day happens, when I assume that human technological and weapon development probably comes to a halt, more or less. I could be wrong about that, though...

That's actually a very good point, though I still find it silly how the movie - and the game - have locked you into standard projectiles.

Definitely understandable. Still, I hope that both are good fun (though I'm still not sold on the giant Transforminator...).

Oh Grim made/produced the release. Gotcha
I thought Grim was a scene or non scene group that released an early copy.
Cuz its coming to stores on May 19th. Its not Steam exclusive.
Seen it advertised in the junk mail that comes to my house.

But if its as good as I think it will be.....then yes, I will buy it immediately
EDIT

Finished it a while ago.
I'll summarize it a bit.
Short(5-7 hours or so), GFX are ok,music is great and it reminds me of geow(no bashing please,my opinion). You can carry only two weapons at the same time, you basically go to an area and kill all the baddies then move to the next area and do the same thing(like in geow).
Long loading times though, didn't try if installing it to HDD would have helped.
Vehicle portions are fun,but there is little character development. I guess you really should see the movie first...
All in all I enjoyed it,was fun and the music helped a lot, made me feel all nostalgic. No GOTY material, but still fun in my book.
