Personally i dont think that constitutes it, my views are this.. there are thousands of posts here at nfohump that say "is it out on torrent?" And the reply can be like "yeah its out on torrent", or "its torrented on demonoid i think". Etc etc etc.
I see the usenet sections be it a.b.g, or a.b.x etc no bloody different to mentioning a torrent site name.Same thing period... No bans on people there so I believe he should be safe enough to mention yeah its around those areas but im not posting links..
Your views are appreciated syco on that hehe. |
There's a difference saying that "Yeah, the torrent is out" as providing the exact location of the release.

But the exact location of a release can be "torrent on demonoid" its pretty fracking exact lol. each tool usent or torrent can use a search engine for the goods right?
a.b.games or a.b.x is no different syco its on usenet period it just means its in a diff part of usenet..

In my humble opinion I would say its more appropriate to leave the source of a release somewhat ambiguous. i.e.: its on a torrent, its on usenet

I appreciate your idea there, but as I said everything has search engines these days it doesnt take a clever clogs to use it on either site types.. Its why I see it pointless to think otherwise. Anyone in the "leeching game" knows anyhow, I cant see how mentioning a more specific area of such places induces a direct sharing link idea..

I did not provide an exact location if you want to be technical, I merely provided the shortform of the groupnames. Even if I state the groupnames, it's really no different than saying "it's on usenet". Anyone with half a brain could look up whatever at binsearch.info or other sites, which has been linked to from here in many posts already. But no indexing is done here on nforce and no linking to nzbs, so I really don't see a problem. And this is not the first time I or other people have posted things like groupnames or releasenames - which imo means nothing at all. All of that you can find everywhere.
I will leave it up to the moderators to decide if this should be practiced or not, and if the mods say no, then I will respect that.

Unfortunately that doesn't really say much at all.
Could be a refresh rate problem but then the monitor usually displays something along the lines of "Out of bounds" in a text screen.
Could also be a display driver issue so make sure those are updated along with any core updates for the main OS and other redists. (VC++, DirectX and so on.)
Might perhaps be on the disc but better to get the latest versions of any required components online.
Also could be a issue with driver optimization or trying to force AA/AF whereas the game can't use those techniques and lastly it could be a codec problem as the game tries to play a movie file.
(Could just try to rename the logo videos and try again, I'd recommend that regardless to get rid of them anyway as they're bothersome, hehe.)

As far as I know, it's impossible, even asked at the official forum.
Is it just me or did the first SL look a lot better than this. It looks like they just slapped a new story and puzzles on graphics from the original. And managed to fuck it up with memory issues, lags, and a absolutely comical new serial killer. A gas mask? That's the best they could come up with?
I remember the original Killer. I was genuinely afraid of him. The mask was so wonderfully terrifying. And he was SILENT. Gave him a nice aura of infallibility.
This one is pathetic.
