This should be interesting... I very much doubt I'll play their MMO's again, but interesting nonetheless. Maybe they'll even go for the console audience this time around, and leave room in the PC market for WoW 2?

I cant imagine anything else than this MMO is going to be a new Kiddie Wonderland.
The casual approach that Blizzard took on WoW totally ruined it.

I am pretty sure that some of the more 'hardcore' raiders will agree with me, that Blizzard ruined raiding when they introduced their 'Everyone one should be able to have the same gear'-policy.
And I know more and more people, whom are only playing WoW because they dont know what else to play - And I think many people have it this way.

i enjoyed WOW for what it was (the lore, the quests, etc). Once you hit end level tho (and end content) it becomes tedious ... raiding months for some piece of equipment ... nah thx... naxx, malygos , sartha are fun a couple times, but at one point it just feels like work 
i have great faith in blizzard to make somethin great with this one tho. Keep in mind tho, that is in the very early stage of development (still using wow engine etc for testing), so we wont see anything of it until 2011/2012 at least. by thn , it wouldnt compete with wow anymore anyway.
And WoW 2 ? who ever said there will/would be a WoW2 ? cause i sure dont see that happening. The Warcraft lore has pretty much been told now with the story arc from wc3, tft and wow,tbc and wotlk. I mean, what else is there to tell ? and "remake" the game with a new engine ... that isnt blizzards way of doing things.

As if they're just going to bury the most successful MMO ever... There's loads of lorelol still unused like Dazz said, and nothing's going to stop them from inventing more as long as they need to.

I just hope it won't become same "bunny jumping, clicking action bars" all over again as WoW. I think Jedi Knight or TES combat style in MMO would be much better and entertaining.

This. If they would mix some Devil May Cry/God of War type combo action in there I would be all over MMOs. You know, a bit more timing/skill required.

Depends on your class, lots of coefficients and formulas that I loved using to make sure my dps on whatever toon I used was up to par. I loved WoW, but its not the same anymore, that's why I don't play. |

See enemy. Click on enemy. Watch auto combat take place. Losing? Press hotkey for potion. Need more damage? Press hotkey for skill X. Won? Click enemy to loot.
