I posted a link to TSG in the epic thread but I suppose nobody read that, so I'll do it here
So The Speedgamers are a group of people who do gaming marathons for charity organizations.
By now they have raised over 20k$ for various charities. The latest was for www.allyshouse.net which is a organization that helps families financially who have children that suffer from cancer and can't afford stuff like prescriptions, medical bills, bills in general.
Their latest marathon was this weekend and they raised about 6130$ in somewhere near 76 hours.
They are gonna do a couple more marathons the coming months.
They are gonna da the Mother series for [url]ww5.komen.org[/url] which is a charities that's active in the field of breast cancer.

Take a look at what they do, if you think it's a good thing, sign up on their board, keep track of their marathons - like I said the next one will be the Mother series, consisting of Mother 0, Earthbound and Mother 3 and starts May 17 and will be 72h marathon again.

The next 2 marathons will be Metal Gear Solid and after that they'll do a Final Fantasy Marathon including all games from FF1 to 12 (although they're not sure on 11) and this marathon will go on for a whole week!

Yeah, one thing I forgot is, promote! Promote this to people you know! Urge them to watch it and see what they're doing it for, the more the better!
