Its a pretty weak game, it lags like hell after you bomb and fly through the fire . Graphics are poor to very poor and controlls are the same . 4/10

I didn't like it too much as well. Unfortunately Japan campaign began in the air, which I didn't like. Submarines or naval combat seemed like fun, but laggy and slow-paced air combat action resulted in uninstall shortly after Pearl harbor "tutorial".

At pearl harbour you had to bring some ships down, but i thought the japanesse were crashing their planes in the ship, not just shooting them .

Kamikaze attacks didn't come until mid-late '44. They only used them as a last resort when the US was almost at their doorsteps (not counting the desperate "last resort" kamikazes, but those occured on both sides, not just the Japanese).

Sure thing.

OTHER: I know it's rahter early, but anyone happen to know a few hidden objectives? I managed to sink every single ship in Pearl but the hidden objective was still a failure. It's really annoying that they don't even hint what the objective could be.

This game is wicked awesome fun! Love being able to deploy my own units, then take control of them properly. The ships, while agonisingly slow and cumbersome, are devastatingly powerful! Nothing gives a measure of satisfaction as launching a salvo of torpedoes and artillery from the bow of my ship Laughing

G4WL key works fine too ^_^

... oh and max-settings, including 4xAA, 75fps at all times. No stutter, no lag, no pauses. Looks great as well!

@Glottis

It handles VERY nicely on the 360 controller, though it's a very strange mechanism for planes (left stick forward/back = speed, left/right = strafe --- right stick forward/back = climb or dive, left/right = roll)

It takes a while getting used to.

Great game.Runs on max-settings even on my old 8800gt.Aviation is superb, naval too, surely more fun and better than HAWX in all aspects.Works great with wireless 360,only changed axis for up and down for plane control.I 'm used to inverted.I agree too with sabin. The game gives you a feeling of satisfaction when you succeed and destroy targets.
8/10 game here for sure.

I changed my right-stick axis too. I hate pressing "up" to climb, I prefer "up" to dive like a real flight-sim/control.

Definitely a fun game!

Not many. But that probably has to do with the fact that the game isn't officially released yet. Wink

Wohooo, the game's awesome. Playing on veteran(hardest) as USA and it tends to be realy dramatic and fucking hard at times. Chasing that last carrier with barely flying torpedo bombers and praying they will hit.

Yeah, I just noticed that, managed to get a few hiddens so far, thanks. Smile

Although I just can't get the Pearl hidden right. I tried to strafe the tankers while still anchored, but no good. Tried to torpedo the one in the BS-line as the BB bombed earlier was sailing by to maximize damage, but still no good (aimed for the magazine, as that supposed to cause a colossal explosion according to my limited sub-sim experiences).

Right now I'm having difficulties getting gold on veteran on the Shoho escort. Tough as hell. Smile

I must have something setup wrong.. Im only getting partial control of my controller... I changed the compatability part.. Could it be the drivers? I just let windows install drivers when I plugged the controller in... This is my first time using one of my xbox controllers so I wouldnt be surprised if Ive done something wrong or NOT done something im supposed to.. heh

Maybe its because its not a MICROSOFT controller, but rather a NEO Se Advanced controller...

O well, Ill bring this up in the Technical section if I cant figure it out.. Just realized im veering off topic.. Sorry all..
