They're not that bad though, doesn't interfere with anything and can be uninstalled instantly, also very small compared to the (hidden) SecuROM drivers or Star-Force drivers.

Aite, so it isnt working for me, can someone walk me through it?
I placed the Riddick.Patch.1.01.exe in the F:\The Chronicles of Riddick - Assault on Dark Athena\System folder, patched the game up.
I placed the serial.txt and vca.bin files in F:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Tages\100663362
I ran the game using both the launcher and the Darkathena.exe files.
I still get the activation screen requiring me to put in a cdkey, and i still get activation failed, invalid cdkey, etc.
What am i doing wrong?

??? what drivers
isn't like this
install game - > install patch - > put the .bin in that directory - > play ?

Everything?
1. Patch the game with 1.1. You don't have to put that patch anywhere, just download it and run it.
2. Extract crack/etc archive and put the patch.exe inside the same folder as DarkAthena.exe (System\Win32_x86) - run it. Click "patch"
3. Extract VCA.bin and key.txt into "ProgramData\Tages\100663362" If you're on Vista, it's C:\ProgramData\TAGES\100663362. If you can't see ProgramData, you need to unhide "hidden files and folders"
Run the game.

Instructions may be confusing. Don't put Riddick.Patch.1.01.exe in your install dir. Just install (it's a game UPDATE). Then put Patch.exe (the 5MB file) in your install directory, and execute it. That should work.

I'm using Windows 7 with latest beta drivers from Nvidia and the game runs fine with MSAA 4x.
I had to turn SSAO off though, since this option not working properly.

For Vista you need folder
C:\ProgramData (enter this adress in every window)
