Nope, does not work. It just defaults back to 1280x720. I have no idea how that is possible, since I changed the default ini too. Maybe I'm overlooking a different ini.

You should be looking in the user INI files, which are either in the Documents folder, or somewhere in %APPDATA%.

Anyone know how to get past the place where you have 2 laser turrets(Easily bypassed because of the walls in between) and then on the second floor where you have no protection?

I kept being shot down and i can't seem to find a strategy to bypass them.

If no one has told Sabin yet, it has nothing to do with Wolverine.

Thanks AKofC Smile

=Edit=

Now THIS game I like! Tons of gore and blood, exp/levels, new skills and stats, pretty graphics, fast-paced action.

I like! I especially love the, horridly creepy, Wolverine-damage too. I took a bit too much damage from various slashes and explosions -- and to see his entire body ripped to shreds then heal itself? Creepy but NIIIIIICE!

All I changed in WEngine.ini was to enable subtitles. I just hope it works .. I *hate* games without subs >_>

Meh, even X Men 3 The Last Stand (the movie) had beheadings.

There is a difference between a couple of quick, non-gruesome beheadings in a movie, and a graphically explicit beheading move that you can do over and over again in a videogame.

I love this game, i've being playing it all day , it's so much fun Very Happy

This is definitely the best movie game ever
The graphics are quite nice, tho i hurt my eyes the first time i used the senses skill, quite some blur.. but for UE it's ok..

The areas are nicely done (tho way to linear). In the tower level in africa i was having the feeling that i was playing prince of persia -it had great art design Very Happy

I love the combat, the moves - especially the finishing moves (a favorite - beating the shield guy with his own servo arm, aww Very Happy) , the blood (..well.. the blood looks really wierd like strawberry jam..but whatever)

One of the things i like is the visual damage & healing on wolverine.. There is blood on him, there are muscle tissues, under them adamantium.. great :}

Also - yay for RPG elements & collectives

The bad things: so far it's easy... very.. very.. very..very easy.. The enemies posse no thread at all.. Even the boss fights are easy.. Also beating the same bosses each time... lame..
Also i was hoping to see more familiar marvel heroes ..to fight them and such...no such thing here :{

Anyway this is one of the best marvel based games. I put it next/or close to Marvel Ultimate Alliance Smile

Per aspera ad astra

Well the success of this game clearly warrants a Deadpool video game in the same vein. It'll be similar but with more talking and cancer.

Ok finally installed the game. First things first. AA works by renaming exe to Bioshock.exe and forcing 4xAA to Bioshock profile in Nvidia control panel (as usual with UE3 games).

My Logitech gamepad worked out of the box, but I experienced some weird bindings, so I used 360 pad emulator and now bindings are perfect. The only downside is that game shows gameplay tips with keyboard keys and not gamepad ones.

I wish Raven would make a new Punisher game since Volition doesn't want to do a sequel. Sad

It's not Volition's choice to get to make a new one. Marvel has licensed the property elsewhere (specifically, to Zen Studios, for the shitty-looking PSN game The Punisher: No Mercy).

The Punisher: No Mercy? I never heard about this game! Is it a PS3 exclusive FPS?

edit:
"arena-based multiplayer action", PS3+PSN exclusive = wtf!? Oh poor Punisher you deserve better than that. Crying or Very sad
