should I tell them to GTFO and stop messing with my garbage that I have put next day to be taken?
Often I see as I walk by.. people yelling at them to get lost because they open the bags and look and do not bother to close it back and in the morning garbage men will not pick it because the bag is total mess and they can be very picky about what to take and what not to take
stupid question but would like some insight on this one, we had few times garbage not picked up, no idea why but who knows

homeless people just don't want to work and are just comfortable the way they are, they want everything the easy way, don't give them money, don't be kind to them ( they will use it against you and think you're a moron) if you see one fucking up your garbage yell at him to fuck off

once I was going to school at around 7AM and saw this chinese lady lookin through the garbage and guy was yelling at her not to come anymore..but she just minded her own business, probably did not spoke a word in english

if their breaking into your HOUSE or something, otherwise their considered no different than a pedestiran walking down the street. The most we have in our neighbor hood is bicycle bob who goes through everyones recyclables and collects cans, which he's quite neat about it, he even upgraded his bike  |

Believe it or not, there are crime organizations here in IL that base their operation and are funded by collecting cans and plastic bottles. They "hire" homeless bums to walk around all day collecting these, and at the end of the day are all put in one place (thousands upon thousands bottles and cans). They they go to the recycle centers and collect the money for bringing these bottles and cans for recycling. There have been numerous killings over the years over these cans and bottles, like when someone enters a zone which is not his.

Not just IL but all over EE as well. We just call it the beggar's mafia since it's the beggars that organize this kind of thing.

We even got some of those here. There are least two guys looking for cans every day, non of those are homeless tho lol (extra money is always good I guess). Nothing wrong with that at all... something good comes out of people to lazy to return empty bottles to the store
have a feeling they would still do it if they won the lottery  Could be very different in USA tho. |
theres a few people here in my city who got hit hard by the economy and they make a few thousand a month just by coellecting scrap metal etc, especially copper |

A friend i know who left college to make money from recycling too :\ its crazy..
he as a team of kids that collect it all for him.. he takes £1.5-2K on copper/steel a month or so. madness

Agreed.
It's funny half the people replaying probably don't live on their own or they have their income supplemented by their parents.
A lot of people were just dumb with money and get laid off, and their wife leaves them. I'm not saying to give them money or anything. It's just some people give up, no reason to treat them any worse then they already have it unless they are all in your face about it.

That must be really low level organised crime. From now on i will think about this every time i drop my plastic fanta bottle.. just think of the kids i will feed. and the goverment talk about litter..

they gave up on everything, they have the ability to clean themselves up, get a minimum wage job and make their lives much better but they're fine living like rats, and to top it off they fuck up my garbage and in the morning the bags are all messy and garbage is everywhere, so excuse me but that pisses the shit out of me, he doesn't give a shit about me so why should I give a flying fuck about him or what he has done with his life living off welfare and spending all his bucks on drugs and liquor he's equal to a fucking parasite/rat in my book
