I don't get it, the native res of this monitor is 1920 by 1200 however when I plug the xbox using VGA plug I get res of 1680 by 1050 and I don't see a way of changing res settings.



I would really like to know WTF is going on Confused

set the game mode on that samsung and use the extended resolution mode

your using VGA or Component (only on those you get this resolution menu)

I'v bin messing around in the menu options for a bout 40 min and I cant find these options Confused

There is nothing to get, xbox doesn't have 1920x1200 res.

I know that, but my monitor sets the res to 1680 by 1050 therefore when I set res in the xbox to 1920 by 1080 it is all out of focus. is there a way I can change the res in the monitor to 1920 by 1080??

Read display manual. If it has 1:1 pixel mapping and can maintain proper aspect ratio then 1920x1080 should display properly. Also try using HDMI cable.

yeh I'm still waiting for dealextream to send me that cable. I guess that's my only options to play on 1080.
