I deleted it after first intro session to the school with the head lady etc, you could just tell from that moment on how shoddy the game was, Leo's terrain flight simulator is more fun.....And I mean that with the upmost respect..Very Happy

Bully is far mor unique than GTA, that's what i really like about it. Only other game i can remember that takes place in school is Skool Daze on the C64, but that was a "few" years back Wink

Gonna try it on PC on my 3 X RAID0 SSD disks, i really hated all the loading in this game, it ruined much of the immersion.. so it should be better on PC.

Graphics are really improved on PC. Textures are sharper, FPS is smoother, looks great with 8x AA + with my SSD RAID the loading is almost non-existant.. Great game Smile

I'm getting quite a significant loading times with my quad-raid 0 SSD OCZ Vertexes 120GB's, should've stuck with raided raptors for 1/8 of this crap's price.

It looks great in 1920x1080 with 8x AA compared to Xbox360 version.. just like GTA IV looks better on PC. I'm not saying it's the best looking game ever, there's a difference.

I found out why it crashes at the start with the "need DirectX 9c sound card" -- it's because there is more than one audio device in my machine - a fact of which I cannot change. It's technically only ONE audio device (Realtek HD) but Windows sees it as three; Realtek HD Speakers, Realtek HD headphones, Realtek HD microphone.

Bully doesn't like that.

So fuck Bully. Uninstalled. ISO deleted. Rolling Eyes

That doesn't make any sense whatsoever.

Worked perfectly here with Realtek on ALC889 with latest drivers(on Vista afair).

I don't care if it makes sense, it's the truth Rolling Eyes

In my DevMgr there are TWO "Realtek HD" devices. Disabling either disables sound altogether - and in dxdiag; there's three "Sound" tabs - which is what causes the crash. KNOWN bug.

How many times does that device appear under "Sound and Game controllers"?

No, I mean here; (and, as said, there are three "Sound" tabs in DxDiag - which is what causes the crash apparently)

They both have the same driver file, according to the properties - and disabling one doesn't remove the additional tabs under DxDiag. Stupid ghost drivers >_>

I can't get the game to work...crashes right after I select "story".

Using an ATI 8800 GTX....dual core 2...plenty of RAM (2 gigs). Any ideas...or should I just delete it. I d/l the patch...installed without any probs.

Bummer....well I have never played it...so I guess I will never know what I am missing.

Take-Two files new Bully trademark. Very Happy Very Happy

Quote:
So we knew that we didn't want to start doing the Bully sequel instantly at that second with those guys--even though it is a property that, like [Max Payne], we adore and might come back to in the future," Houser said at the time. "There was just no impetus to do that then. So we said, 'You can do Max, and then we will see what we can do with Bully.

We also have a extraordinary pipeline of titles in development for next-generation platforms, including groundbreaking new intellectual property and releases from our proven franchises.

The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.
