I notice when i download on 20Mbit my FPS drops big time while gaming... What happens when i get a 50 or 100 Mbit connection ?? Damn i need a new computer to download and game at the same time

The program i use is called SABnzbd The best program there is in my eyes if you use newsgroups off course. Edit : when i think about it the problem may lay in the fact i use the same harddisk. I probably should give it a try to download to my other disk.

may also be the driver for your network adapter. I had that problem with an older Realtek-based 100mb network card. When i maxed it out on a lan the cpu load for filezilla went past 90% and the machine came to a crawl

First thing i thought when reading your post. I would say that is the most likely the problem.

Usenet clients should not store it's temp-files on the system partition, it does a lot of HD-work. If your client repairs and unpacks the downloads you have your answer there, those tasks take a lot of RAM and especially CPU time as well as a lot of HD read/write.

Use ctrl+alt+delete and change priority for your client to "lowest" or "idle" to minimize problems if you're gaming.
