the official thread was closed 'until a scene rls is out', but judging from pretty much everything i've read about it, it either won't be anytime soon or it won't be a normal (by scene rules) crack.
hopefully people will think of letting others know if any news is out.
newty, u seem to check suprbay more often, so it would be cool if you'd post some of the progress that renafuse and the others are making.
this is the useless void, btw, so don't lock this, because there's too much crap in here for the eventual lock to make any kind of sense.

Ryzen 5 5600, ASUS ROG STRIX B550-F GAMING WIFI II, Corsair Vengeance RGB RT 32GB 3600MHz C16, MSI RTX 5070 Ti Ventus 3X OC , Corsair RMx Series RM750x. AOC AGON AG324UX - 4K 144Hz 1ms
the old riddick was cool, but the remake seems to look so much better.. i played about 2/3 of the first some time ago, and i'm tempted to continue, but i'd rather wait a bit more. i mean there's a lot of other stuff coming (or already here) and i'd rather play it 'properly'.
edit: thx, newt

i wasn't talking about riddick specifically. most ports still look similar to their console counterparts. i was talking about the pointlessness of getting a console when you already have a gaming pc. it makes sense for exclusives, yes, but i ain't gonna buy any console for the 15-20 good exclusives that each has (numbers are guesstimated, but the point stands)
why are you bringing consoles in the discussion anyway? this was about the new protection (that other games may use if it proves successful in stopping 0day piracy) and about making riddick playable on the pc, without buying it.
sure, i love split screen. spent 3 hours setting it up for l4d, but it was worth it(disappointingly burnout paradise didn't have it for some stupid reason).
hot-seat is also cooler than lan for me; in trackmania, for example,
for riddick, though, i don't really care. i want the sp campaign only, they can keep the multiplayer, be it lan or split-screen or whatever
